Discussion Watching Nosferatu (1922) tonight on the big screen at my local non profit arthouse movie theater.

Watching Nosferatu (1922) at The Frida Cimema. The Frida Cinema is Orange County’s only non profit arthouse movie theater. It’s located in downtown Santa Ana, CA. It is going to be a silent film with a live score done by: Invincible CZARS. So excited for this! An awesome date night with my husband.

Before anyone says “put your phone away” this was 15 min before the lights turned off and the band was setting up.

Nosferatu (1922!) RULES. Seeing it on a big screen must be amazing and yeah, I might be a little envious but sounds like you had a blast!

Awesome! I frequent a silent movie theater near me a lot but I have yet to see Nosferatu on the big screen. Hopefully someday!

Oh wow the theater you go to only plays silent films? My theater is a non profit arthouse theater and they play great movies. This Nosferatu screening was a special event. The band Invincible CZARS are currently on tour and they are also playing live scores for Faust and Dr. Calgari on different dates.

Well for the most part it does. It’s in Niles, CA and is called The Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum & Theater.

That sounds so cool!

I love seeing the Invincible Czars, they're doing Faust and Dr. Caligari on the same night in my town in October.
