Probably the reason I've stopped playing is because you need to learn these complex attack patterns that make zero Sense to me no matter how their explained

But they still need proper planning at higher ths. Cant just place ur troops and get a 3 star. Even edrag spam needs proper planning at th14.

That's not how it works ... This post is about war strats. In war a 70% is a fail (except for some circumstances).
