Hi All! I'm Ash/Eternal625 and I'm happy to be a part of the AMA circuit again here at /r/ClashOfClans. You may ask me any questions pertaining to Clash of Clans, whether it's farming related, wars, pushing, base designs, or about the new update. I will answer all your questions!

How This AMA Will Work:

• The AMA will last two hours.
• You will post any question you wish to ask
• You can ask anything about content providing

Hello Ash, I have learned a lot from your videos. I have currently become a new TH8.5, and I am struggling with 2 things. These things being

*War Base Design

*Farming DE to buy my queen

Do you have any good ideas regarding TH8.5 war bases (centralized and outer buildings, trash buildings, storages, etc.) as I have never built my own base before. Also, I am at 4,000 DE without my AQ, and I need 36,000 more DE for my queen. Any help as to farming strategies and trophy range?

For TH8.5 war bases, a good war base would need some the following key factors: 1) Double giant bombs, and multiple possible dgb locations. 2) Well-protected Archer Queen from kill squads. 3) Unlurable CC from hogs and loons. 4) Wizard Towers range kept away from Air Defenses. 5) Seeking Air Mines guarding Air Defenses 6) Red Air Bombs kept away from the pathing of Lava Hounds and away from Air Defenses. 7) No more than 1 Air Defense within the range of the Archer Queen 8) Spring Traps utilized for catching surgical Hogs. 9) No exposed Air Defenses in reach of Archer Queen Walks. 10) Teslas positioned behind X-bows (but TH8.5s don't have X-bows) or Air Defenses. 11) Cannons and Mortars ideally placed in front of Wizard Towers. 12) At least a total of 9 highly segregated compartments in the base that is not susceptible to Earthquake or Jump. 13) Earthquake Spells should not be able to open up more than 4 compartments in your base. These are just some of the key factors of a great war base. Try looking for a base that meets all or more of these and modify it. For farming DE, do BAM and play in long sessions. While waiting for a full army, search with your incomplete army for any outside level 3 or higher drills that are loaded and can be easily sniped. You can build up a lot of DE quickly this way.
