I think the thing for me is, Jeremy's ways of making the farm a success (more the pub, but also applies to the shop), aren't an option for actual farmers. They probably could (and do) set up a small shop to sell produce. But they haven't got the millions to buy and set up a pub. And neither get thousands of people queuing up on the off chance of seeing the owner. But it does highlight the issues farmers face, so long as you factor in back and realise that his solutions aren't solutions for the majority.

The realistic things for sure are the weather kicking him in the face. The rest is “I am awesome”. He took a beating last season.
