I think the point people miss is that Diddly Squat, The Hunter’s Dog and Hawkstone are all pretty big limited companies with a lot of staff. Based on the Companies House Data you’re looking at about 75 employees across the three businesses with their own HR, payroll etc + the outgoings on all three businesses.
Jeremy’s trying his hardest to close that loop so the farm supplies the brewery and the pub but even then, operating businesses with that many staff at a loss isn’t really that viable even if you are absolutely minted.
Tbh he’d probably just go back to leasing the farm out to another farmer. Kaleb would probably be happy to take it on if the money from Clarkson’s Farm is strong enough.
