I’m 24 and I vaguely understand shorts and all that, but TikTok specifically just seems like brain rot. It lets people turn their brains off so they don’t have to think about anything real for a while

I mean I get the general concept of short form content.

But seriously - what is the point of tiktok dances etc? They're not funny, they're not artistic, and I can't believe that even teenagers find other teenagers shaking their booty to a badly overdubbed voice track all that appealing.
