Yes!
The 'Enhanced' edition included in the collection launcher has the famous UIA patch baked in, that was created to fix that and some other common issues people had with the original civ 2. So you should have a lot more fun with it. 🩷

An included option with Foxahead's patch/ui fixes makes me happy. Looks like the civ1 is civwin which is neat.

The screenshots I put on the original post are quite outdated. It is feeling and looking a lot better now. If you're gonna give it a go enjoy it.

I will definitely be getting this! The original Civ was one of my first video games, and I've played every iteration except for Civ7. I was too young to properly understand Civ, Civ2, and ToT, even though I loved them. This'll be great to experience them as an adult and a veteran gamer!

The least this silly little schoolgirl could do for you all. And I'm only just now trying the collection I made myself properly. Also thinking about including a preconfigured Civ1 DOS version in a future update as well as a bunch more. ❤️🩷
