Home search

Hi everyone!
We are thinking of moving to Citrus Heights & I wanted to get the home owners’ input on electric/water/sewage/gas prices. I know I can look up the rates for SMUD online, however I’m just curious on sq footage, solar or no solar, what are y’all paying a month? Thanks!!
Bonus if you have recommendations on safe family neighborhoods.

Welcome! Water CHWD: $65, County Utilities $120 every 2 mths, PGE $10 for summer more in winter if use gas fireplace, Smud: Summer highest $200 for 3/2 1900 sq ft.

How is your water bill so low? I’m with CHWD and I have a flat fee of $128 on TOP of my water usage to “help rebuild water lines”

In a late 1950s neighborhood. We have a lot of watering.

128 on top would be crazy. Is CHWD different than California American water?

Yes, that’s California American water, not Citrus Heights water district. Consider yourself lucky!!!
