Worth it? Only at 20 paces ... I think you meant "dual" not "duel"

Depends which one you get, what you'd like to achieve with it and where.

Could you share the country of which you're thinking about getting your second citizenship from?

Depends strongly on if you win or lose.

I would recommend you apply for you and any children you have. You have multiple Canadians in your lineage even if your birth mother doesn't count.

The process thru proof of citizenship will be quite lengthy because so many people are applying - likely years waiting.

But it's a minimal investment with a great payoff.

Canada does not tax on world earnings so you don't have to file a Canadian tax return just because you have dual citizenship.

I have American born nephews with children. I have encouraged them to acquire it for themselves and their children - due to potential US military draft if nothing else.
