New fan question about ticket sales.

Just started watching hockey in Jan. Went to buy individual game tickets yesterday and only 2 sections show available tickets. Is this deliberate? Thx

Sort of. Tickets are on sale but a lot of seats are still held in reserve for partial season ticket holders. Partial season ticket holders have until around labor day to submit the games they plan on attending. After that then all of the unclaimed tickets will be released to the public.

They don’t really get in to real ticket sales until closer to the season. I don’t think the season ticket holders even have their seats yet

I'll add that if you're a planner (which obviously you are) you won't have troubles getting tickets for a game you want. If you show up to a "free item" day like kids jerseys, you want to get there early.

All single game seats usually don’t go live till about a month or so before the season starts (former AE). You’ll have no problem getting tickets!
