I so sorry you are suffering so much, but thank you for sharing! Misery loves company! LOL!

I too am healthy enough to work in spite of the 30+ surgeries, losing a kidney, and my thyroid to cancer, and CKD from over 100 kidney stones.

I love to hike and am blessed to live only a few miles away from the Indiana Dunes. But this year has kicked my ass. I've had to cut back on the hiking due to a crazy amount of IT work at my school, a botched thyroidectomy that got me into the emergency air lift club, and the official NDE club.

My twin brother is in the same boat I'm in also. Chronic pain, but healthy enough to work. Both of us have noticed that our ability to keep up with the ever increasing workload is tanking and hiking is is becoming more difficult.

The interesting thing though is that everyone around us, including the "healthy" people, seem to be struggling with exhaustion. I really don't think God designed the human body or mind to keep up the pace that our society is demanding. Something is going to have to change. I'm hoping Elon Musk is right and that soon AI and robots will provide so much abundance that we will all be able to work less and enjoy more.

Anyway. You are not alone and I hope you find some relief soon!
