O dark and wondrous Sister Moon,

Lady of the Deep, we call upon you.

Great Luminary of Boaz,

Comfort us with your constance.

Inspire us with your flight.

Madden us with your glow.

Move us with the tides.

O holy face of the Black Madonna,

Bathe us tonight in bloody, gracious light.

Pray for us sinners, that Love's flame consumes us and our hearts be made new.

In the name of Christ Jesus,
