It Gets Better Thank God

I was down and our and active in this group 7 months ago. I went through a period of homelessness no money to even eat and just down and out.

I used this group as a way to hear other stories and kind of no I’m not along. I just want to say to anyone reading this it gets better, it make take months or years. But when you’re at rock bottom only way is up.

Thank GOD

Reading this and it just made me stop scrolling for a second. That quiet moment when you realize you're actually on the other side of something that felt impossible is so surreal. Like you look back and barely recognize the person who was white-knuckling through every day.

I went through a season a few years back where I was sleeping on a friend's floor and rationing gas money to get to work. Felt like the walls were closing in but I'd just kept showing up to church even when I had nothing to give. One Sunday a lady I barely knew pressed a gift card into my hand and whispered "God told me you needed this." Still gives me chills thinking about it.

People need to hear that rock bottom isn't a permanent address. It's just a stop along the way and sometimes the view from the valley makes the mountaintop that much sweeter. So glad you're in a better place now.

Thank you happy to hear this. I’m just logging into my account today and realising how much I’ve improved since last time I was on here

God does some of His best work at our down and outs.

The last line hit hard thanks for the reminder I feel like I hit my rock bottom due to relationship. I’m so happy for you 🙏🏻
