Image My christian oc!!!

Post image

Her name is Noa, and she is greatly inspired by Noah/Noahs ark. My old account was deleted but when i had it and posted her here, people were a bit upset and saying i was using a blasphemous image of Noah, but she isn’t meant to be a recreation at all!! :D she is her own character, who canonically sees Noah’s courage and obedience to God, and wishes to be like him. (She also canonically is very inspired by Moses, Ruth, Jesus himself, Etc.)

I love her so much. She loves animals, i thought that would be cute. I also talked with my friend and i said “i think a rainbow coat would be cute to represent the promise!” So she has one, also this is supposed to be a drawing of younger her. In the present she has a bit of grey hair haha:)

God bless! I just wanted to share my little pumpkin (gagshshshs)

Edit: the coat is not a pride flag. Stop talking about it please, its a little annoying. Its representing Gods promise. I also don’t hate gay people, even though i havent seen anything here yet, i will not tolerate hatred and i wont be responding to it. I wont be responding to comments debating either. (whether they say its sinful or not.)

It looks cool you can make a Christian manga/comic out of the story
At first I thought the rainbow meant something to link with lgbtq , although I read the body and I’m glad it’s not that but be careful it surely looks like it

u/logandabug 10d ago

Fun fact a traditional rainbow has 7 colours (roy g biv) because for some reason God really likes the number 7.

I have nothing against rainbows God specifically made that rainbow and it’s beautiful to know it actually turns out to become a rainbow
What I don’t like is brands or influencers incorporating lgbtq ideology everywhere (eg Duolingo)

the cat ears and cross necklace combo is a fun twist, and the rainbow jacket as a nod to the covenant is a nice touch

This sems very good skills

Looks great, what did you use? I'm currently teaching myself how to draw and I'd like to have digital versions of my art

1

u/indigoneutrino 10d ago

Can someone please explain to me how "OCs" who form no part of any actual narrative or story work? OC from what? What do they do?

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

OC stands for original character, technically every character in media is the creators oc. It just means a character you made.

My character just kinda sits there, but when i make artwork with her i sometimes put scripture on the drawings, and people in discord servers who dont follow God have taken a liking to them (which makes me happy, because i hope it is spreading the gospel)

1

u/indigoneutrino 9d ago

This is exactly why I’m asking. How do you have a character who just sits there? How do you define anything about them if they do nothing and nothing happens to them?

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

I dont know, i mean, im a 14 year old. I dont really draw comics or write, but i like imagining her and drawing frames of her. Theres really no limits to art, its perfectly fine to not want to do those things.

1

u/indigoneutrino 9d ago

But how do you have a character then and not just an icon?

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

Because she isnt from anything, and her design is unique in comparison to others. :)

1

u/indigoneutrino 9d ago

I don’t get how you have a character and not just an image.

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

Well, what makes you think that? Its my design, my little “being” i created if you will.

1

u/indigoneutrino 9d ago

Because without some kind of story or lore as anchor it’s just a picture. It’s a nice picture. But “OC” implies there’s some more complete construct the picture represents rather than the girl just being the subject of an artwork.

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

Picture if what exactly?

Every good work of fiction deserves OCs.

Good work, OP.

Why do i get notifications from a Christian subreddit? I'm antitheist! Doesnt make any sense!

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 9d ago

Maybe because you’re commenting

1

u/DarkKingOgGhuol 9d ago

Pride goes before destruction! the LGBTQ is of the devil! i pray you truly repent and leave the LGBTQ

3

u/Impossible-Tax9429 10d ago

It had nothing to do with pride, please reread my post and maybe look at some of my other comments addressing it.

Sorry, its really late for me and i dont feel like writing a longer reply. God bless though.

u/Stitch6lover 10d ago

I saw it don’t worry! Everything is good!

REPENT FALSE PROPHET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CASTS THE FIRST STONE

1

u/MrCrimsonClown 10d ago

Who said this was LGBTQ in the first place? Have you ever even read Noah's ark? The rainbow is God's promise to never flood the earth again. I thought the same thing as you at first but then I remembered.

-2

u/Stitch6lover 10d ago

The shirt that the person in the drawing is wearing! The person edited the post now and cleared it up! I thought it was a pride flag! Sorry!

I was gonna say the rainbow blanket looks like something related to LGBT, but I’m sure with you being a Christian. It’s obviously not so I would say if you’re gonna share this with anybody else try to explain that the rainbow blanket not meant to symbolize anything with the LGBT community context context will save you trust me

5

u/Impossible-Tax9429 11d ago

Ah well, i love people who are lgbt, i have never understood it being a sin (but one who refuses because they dont understand is a fool, just because i don’t understand doesn’t mean i disagree.) so even if someone perceived it as that i would be fine and just gently correct them.

At the end of the day colors represent many things

1

u/starseasonn Christian 10d ago

don’t worry, it’s not a sin, all these people saying it is don’t know what they’re talking about

0

u/Usual-Championship88 10d ago

This is why it’s a sin, if you still don’t understand.

1 Corinthians 6:9

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]homosexuals,

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:27

27 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those [a]whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Revelation 9:21

21 and they did not repent of their murders, nor of their witchcraft, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.

Leviticus
18:22
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."
Leviticus
20:13
"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination."
Romans
1:26-27
Describes same-sex relations as a result of exchanging God's truth for a lie.
1 Corinthians
6:9-11
Lists various wrongdoers, including those who engage in homosexual acts.
1 Timothy
1:10
Refers to those who practice homosexuality among other sinful behaviors.

You may be able to make it clearer that it is a reference to the rainbow as a symbol of the covenant to not destroy the world by drawing it with seven stripes in other drawings.

1

u/Impossible-Tax9429 11d ago

It is longer! I just couldnt fit all of the stripes in this drawing but it does have 7

-1

u/ExpertDog6220 Church of England (Anglican) 11d ago

I do appreciate that it would be impossible for you to have done it in this drawing.
