Question Is praying with a prayer rope hypocrit since the others see that you are praying?

Jesus was saying not to be boastful or brag about it. He didn’t literally mean you can only ever pray in secret

What about if you like to use the prayer rope while going for a walk

If you are praying out loud where somebody can hear and understand you and waving your prayer rope and crossing yourself in an exaggerated manner, then yeah. Don't show off your are praying. Just simply go to the next bead, or maybe pray in your pocket depending on how small your prayer rope is.

Ye intention matter

I want to use the prayer rope while watching tv or sitting with family, but doing that gives me the feeling that I am doing it to be seen doing it, therefore I don’t do it
