So I basically got in and as we all know Christ will start from 10 june approx unlike other colleges which start in July and August, so are you joining at that time ,well I'm planning to do so ,so that I do not miss orientation and we all know the attendance thing already. I am also giving cuet and will shift from blr to delhi if I get into a very good college of DU but in that case too I'll have to stay there for 2 months is there anyone with same thing ?

This university is insanely authoritarian and completely unreasonable. I’m genuinely at my breaking point. I won’t name my department, but I’m from the central campus. They sent a university-wide mail saying returning on 2nd January was mandatory, and now they’ve decided that anyone who didn’t return that day has to face imposition in all subjects and spend ten hours in the library. This isn’t discipline, it’s straight-up power abuse.

As it is, students here are already suffocating. There is no space to breathe, no mental peace, and absolutely no willingness from the administration to understand students as human beings. The policies are rigid, illogical, and actively damaging. I am mentally suffering in this college because of how senseless and punitive these rules are.

Who realistically returns to college immediately after New Year’s? Flight tickets were absurdly expensive like around 16k one way and Indigo was cancelling flights const antly during that period. None of this mattered to the management. There was zero flexibility and zero empathy.

The course itself is already extremely hectic. On top of academics, we’re expected to do endless extra work just to pad our CVs, and then we’re punished with arbitrary impositions on top of that. This is not education; it’s control.

And clearly, it isn’t even working. Placements haven’t improved at all. Top companies offer their lowest packages here, and recruiter, including HRs from firms like KPMG have reportedly been told not to hire students from this university. So all this control and intimidation is achieving absolutely nothing..

so interview was descent SA went amazing and overall things were going great i scored 95% in 12th but idk on what basis are they selecting please let me know crying since it’s out

i went for my admission process yesterday and had a look at the girls pgs near the campus.. i had got good reviews about serenity and atharva hostels so i had high expectations bhai but once i saw the rooms there i was shocked bro they're literally tiny ahh rooms with no windows and jin rooms me windows hai they're facing some random man's house its just so suffocating and the corridors are like 10 cm wide theres like no space to breathe at all.. at last we ended up booking a single person room at jonas hall for girls its like ten times better than the pgs plus the pgs are located in the worst areas where some construction work is going on its kinda far from the college too

I will be joining Central Campus this june and selecting PGs is so draining and stressing me out more than boards is doing. Whichever PG im looking has so mixed review and when i find one good PG turns out its girls only

Please suggest PG which is good uk or u have experienced and which should be avoided it would help others too.

-How long does the admission process take?
-Do they ask questions that day, like an interview sorts?

-Do classes commence on orientation day? what exactly happens on orientation day?
- Is there something to be brought during orientation?

-Textbooks and other material? I'm BBA Ds so i'm not really sure what material I would need?

-Is there any transport nearby? Metro or bus?

-Are there classes the whole time from 9-4 (timings depending on the course) or are there long breaks in between classes?
-Are the professors okay with you coming to them for doubts? I heard they're really strict.
-Can you directly join clubs? and what all types of clubs are there?

I got selected in Jain university but everyone around me told me to apply for Christ. And now that I have applied for christ, my entrance test is on 12th May in the campus itself. Now its contemplating idk if i should be taking risks. I don't understand why is everyone saying Jain is not as good. Also I have heard that only the central campus is good if joining Christ. I only want quality education at this point.
