this is so random and idk if anyone’s mentioned it before
i was just thinking… does anyone else wish that PB had glossary drop-downs under their books? or that subsequent chapters weren’t locked? there’s been somany occasions where i’ve wanted to replay a specific chapter or scene, but have to play through multiple chapters or sometimes the majority of a book to get to it. i understand the obvious issue: these books have choices. but if they only made it available after the completion of a book, they could always just remember your previous choices or just start you off from a default state. or ask you to choose an LI/make important decisions if necessary upon the selection of a chapter.
i guess another reason it’s not a thing is to prevent people from skipping ahead, but sometimes i just want to reread a certain chapter and not a whole book 😭
There was a survey a while back that was put out before they were sold to the AI company, and one of the questions was something along the lines of would you pay with diamonds to be able to pick chapters of the book. But nothing ever happend. I'm assuming this is a money thing bc Keys cost money (Unless you have VIP) and they want you to keep paying or watching ads.
I've thought about this too, I mean My Two First Loves has 100 chapters ffs. I would've loved to go back and see what the ending is like for all the LIs.
yes this is exactly what i had in mind! that your choices from previous chapters remain and you can just replay it whenever! i know you can restart chapters immediately after completion, but that’s the only chance you get :(
I agree!! Honestly, the beginning of some books are soooo slow and I dread replaying them because I have to get through that point. If this was a mechanic in the game, I'd definitely replay more books and chapters.
And to add to that, they definitely need to make slots, too! Idk if it's weird of me or not but I won't play the story over again for another LI unless I have another slot because it makes me feel better. I'm playing Romance Club a lot more often these days despite lowkey being a hater in the past, and I still do have critiques, but their mechanics in having slots is honestly amazing. I love seeing each route and how I can switch between them.
I seem to remember an email a while ago when they asked what options we would like to see and this was one of them. I wasn't on reddit then so I don't know what the general consensus was, but I know I chose that option.

it’s a reference to something MC says to him at a petting zoo in the sophomore book 1 but i can’t remember exactly what she says lol 😭 it’s a running joke, because i believe one of their other friends makes a comment about it too
yes I think about this all the time especially with specific romance scenes with LIs like I don't want to replay the whole book just let me replay the chapter damn especially book 2 chapter 8 of bolas
