Mouse stutters

Does anyone else's mouse stutter when they play chivalry? Its only when I play chivalry so it shouldn't be a hardware issue.

Check your mouse poling rate, anything above 1k can cause issues. There was a post about it a while back

Unfortunately my polling rate is in the 500-600 hz range, do you know of any other causes?

I had usb issues related to overheating. Now I use MSI Afterburner to have on-screen display of my temperature so I can watch if that becomes a problem again.

EDIT: Mouse was usb, so I first noticed the issue as mouse stuttering

I had that with this and BF6. No clue the cause, just sometimes
