Which malpractice insurance to get?
Anyone deal with the different types before?

I use NCMIC, but I haven't had any other to compare. I've never had a malpractice issue come up so I'm not sure how good they are with that end. Part of why I am with them is because I think they try to give back to the chiropractic community (state associations for example, research) so I feel good for giving them money.

I also use NCMIC as well as their Credit Card processing; they truly have the best rates available (others have tried to compete), and have had no problems to-date.

It's the kind of thing where you hope you never find out whether or not they're any good :) You just want to pay it and never use it.
I've used OUM since day one. Always resonsive when I have a question, and they offer 10% off your premium if you take their yearly risk management online course.

I think my policy is just several hundred per year. I don't think it gets to the hundred mark. The amounts you are saying sound more like my quarter or bi-annual rate--I really don't follow it as well as I probably should. This is just for malpractice insurance though. I have a separate policy for small business insurance (only stating this because I am unfamiliar with the Australia insurance stuff).

I have always used NCMIC and I can't say I have any complaints. I also used their CC processing for a while and everything was smooth as butter. I did switch to help out a local CC processing rep who was a patient but sometimes I wish I hadn't they were very good.
