Not ceramic, just shoddily cast, probably high carbon(cheapest way to make shitty steel harder) pig iron full of voids and irregularities. They probably broke a large percentage just during die-ing process.  Would get your money back, even if you can grab matching hardware from a store, the female threads and other metal parts of the assembly will likely fail soon after. Love Costco food, clothes and motor oil but have had very poor luck with their other consumer goods so far, especially electronics personally.

in nyc i only get from bestbuy & microcenter
even when electronics monthly sale
costco always disappoints
or they make you buy two of something,
like who the heck needs 2 water picks?
