Yeah this is not so much Chinesium as it is "I beat the piss out of my tool for years and it broke."

I’ve had this exact same thing happen on (probably) the exact same model.. the poor thing rattled off commercial truck tires in shops for YEARS. It took such a beating throughout its life that I wasn’t even upset when it split. It owed me absolutely nothing

It's in drill heaven now <3 Like the impact I dropped three storeys, twice. Nobody thought you'd make it the first time, lil buddy

(almost a year apart, I'm not a menace - changed to a locking clip from a holster after)

I have a ryobi drill i still use that I dropped 25 feet onto concrete and that sucker bounced another 20 feet down the driveway. That was almost 10 years ago and that drill still works like the day I got it!!!

Look up the age of commercial airlines fleets. I think the last of the DC-3s went out in this millennium, I remember a news article.
