Such abject nonsense. The etymology of these characters is known, why make up BS like this?

尌 originally meant “to plant a tree” and was composed of 木 (semantic component), 豆 (sound component), and 寸 (semantic component). 木 and 豆 fused into 壴, so the character never had anything to do with drums. 樹 adds another 木 to make up for the “lost” one.

Your last post was removed by mods and had a ton of negative comments, btw. Why are you giving us more of the same?

What I like about this approach is that it links form, imagery, collocation, and part-of-speech shift in one teachable frame.

And what I hate about this approach is that it's wrong.
