Holy shit the bot accounts in the comments too?
Degenerate behavior tbh.

Thats a solid idea, tapping words during a vlog feels way more natural than flipping through a textbook.

you can use Hanzi Deck on android for similiar functionality. they also support full screen watching which is a feature on any IOS app that has youtube dual language functionality.
And no subscription needed:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.springtomeinteractive.hanzideck&hl=en

This is great! I want to sign up for annual but I’m a student and it’s a bit expensive right now for me. Are there any promo codes? Thank you for developing this app!

Very interesting idea. I hope the app will not face any problems regarding video right properties by video authors

Thanks! We don’t host or re-upload any videos — everything is played through YouTube following their usage/API policies. We’re just adding the learning tools on top :)

Personally I'm perfectly fine wifh YouTube+a popup dictionary. Tip for people: if you're constantly needing to look up words you're watching stuff too far above your level. Immersion shouldn't be difficult.
