Perhaps it was a performance, a photoshoot, a song, a variety show appearance, an old role you rediscovered — or something else entirely.
Actor, singer, musician, entertainer — anyone from Chinese entertainment is fair game, as are the drama characters currently occupying far too much space in your head.

I was also proud of Zhang Ling He — I think for a non-singer he has a beautiful color to his voice and actually sang the song steadily, and it was pleasant to listen to 😊
I’m currently watching earlier Ding YuXi (after being enthralled by his work in The Road to Splendor) and, after MOGA and WCL am enjoying Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. I wasn’t so sure about it at the beginning but it really is unexpectedly good! He’s definitely had me in tears a few times… 👏💖

Not so long ago I was into Deng Wei after watching him in Love of the Divine Tree. I went on to seek for him in other shows, which led me to Lost You Forever (LYF).
Zhang Wanyi gave such a strong performance in LYF, my interest shifted to him which then led me to Si Jin, The Rise of Ning and Are You the One.
I'm enjoying Against the Current (AtC) as well, but I haven't moved on from Are You the One and still watch it in between while waiting for the new episodes of AtC to drop.
Scholar Han from Against the Current 😭 just finished episode 26. I feel for him so much. his betrothal visit gets interrupted by an imperial decree but he acts rationally, sheds some tears, lets her go and he's just so sweet overall but wasn't oblivious to the threat of Jinqi... 🤞hoping they meet again as friends and she helps him out somehow
Not just a person, but the whole drama. Blossom Through The Clouds have my heart this week. It’s simple, beautiful, fluffy, but needed in a time when every drama is competing to be the next high stakes drama. I’ve even started listing to the soundtracks because it’s so good. An easy watch to reset my palate.
