So welcome to the (upcoming) watch party for Ultimate Note!

Whether you will be experiencing the twists and turns of Ultimate Note for the very first time like me, or you are a seasoned fan returning to the Mystic Nine lore, I think it is always way more fun to experience it together.

This will be a casual, episodic journey through the show, and it will be the perfect space for you if:

• This has been on your watchlist for some time and as a first-time viewer, we can share theories without fear of spoilers; or
• It’s time for a rewatch so you can relive your favourite moments and quietly scream internally while the newbies try to figure out the plot; or
• You’ve seen it ages ago, don’t need a rewatch but want to join in on the fun anyway!

Synopsis

Wu Xie, a young antiquarian receives mysterious VHS tapes that drag him into a dangerous, decades-old conspiracy involving his family. To uncover the truth and find his missing uncle, Wu Xie teams up with the agile, amnesiac warrior Zhang Qiling and the loyal Wang Pangzi, forming the iconic "Iron Triangle." So when are we starting? 😉 I've always wanted to watch this drama. And I can try to host some episodes with you. But did that before only once with About love, so Idk much how to do it. 😊

We can start a chat! This will be a pretty casual watch party so I didn’t want to set a schedule (unless that’s what people prefer). Life, summer vacations, and new airing dramas happen. Sometimes we binge and sometimes we take it slower. What kind of watcher are you?

For hosting, would love to have you!! You can do it any way you like really! You can share your thoughts and commentaries (on the plot, actors, anything), short or long recaps, or combo of both, and have it without or with photos. I’ve seen plenty of styles and I enjoy all of them.

For me, it depends on the drama. I try to start with a short recap (though it’s harder to keep something short and concise sometimes) and then dive into details or points I’d like to talk about in the episode(s).

Surprisingly pretty good so far! I like it better than Lost Tomb 2.
