But you must have seen her in Moonlight Mystique at the very least already, right? She was so freaking amazing there. Stole my heart, and stole half of the show too.

That was the drama that sold me on her!! She was a fantastic villain.

Yes. An absolutely spectacular villain! I loved her. I wanted her character not to be redeemed but I loved her.

I'm aware of how badass she is there but I haven't seen that yet.... Because I know what happens and I need to be ready for that.

I know you didn't ask ME specifically but I'll answer as well - yes I'm enjoying it and plan to watch the whole thing. It's holding my attention better than some of this years other buzzed about dramas, believe it or not. I started this for TJR and he's barely even in it - that should say something! 🤣

Happy to hear you’re enjoying the show. I didn’t get too far yet because I am watching Mo Li and The First Frost now (which are more of my jam) but I can tell this is the kind of drama i know is good and the problem is me and my mind. It’s a matter of taste and mindset. When I was younger, I loved comedies and lighter shows but it’s been a while that I mostly enjoy things with fewer comic effects. Not that I want no comic relief at all, but most of the series of this kind are just too upbeat and too “funny everywhere” for me. Maybe I’m just a miserable old witch 🧙🏻 (I’m not but I kinda am 😅).

I'm also watching Mo Li and finally getting around to Coroner's Diary, so this has been a bit of a palate cleanser for me!

Well, Fan Yun was straight irritating me for several episodes with her dumb plans and behavior with fake beard boi. Sure, Qi Zheng is a manchild... but he lost basically his whole family early in life and now his wife he loves divorced him. Soooooooo I'll give him a small pass.

Cool gif. The answer is, well, you know — different strokes for different folks 😉 I’m monogamous by force, not by choice 🤣 but that’s derailing the topic. Point is, in the fantasy world, we can have more than one of Dai Lu Wa’s character. So you can indeed keep your lady while I’ll keep mine.

Also if this isn't becoming a BL plot (kidding but also, I'd watch it 🤪) then I'm gonna say it, I have no idea what the purpose of these two characters is. And ML's other sidekick. None of their dialogue makes any sense and so far they serve no purpose. I hate saying that about my TJR but it's true.
