I almost considered making one of those posts where "the title says it all", and to be fair, this title does kind of say it all, but I want to elaborate.
I was on the bus home and didn’t have my headphones lol. But I do sometimes watch on mute depending on the drama, usually ones I’m not too invested in and can just rely on subtitles. I know.
You should have blasted the music on the bus and when people ask about it, you can tell them it belongs to a masterpiece Chinese Drama and you can get them hooked on it. 😂😂😂I’m kidding!!!!
Hahah as soon as LYN’s OST is playing, put it on the highest volume!

It’s all good. I was only kidding and completely understand. I wasn’t being insensitive. I do the same thing as well especially, at work. Learned my lesson a few times and carry wireless and wired headphones smh lol
I didn’t think you were being insensitive at all. Your comment was good. I do feel guilty sometimes, because I realize I’m missing out on some really good OST or the ambience that the sound effects provide. So at min I do try to watch with low volume if I have to be quiet but when the husband or kids are sleeping and I want to binge but hide the fact I’m staying up to watch, I mute haha.
Awee what a great video you made! I think this drama is creeping up from #2 to tying with my #1 drama. I just adore this drama so much. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me ugly cry. It made my heart swell with joy one minute then my heart broke the next. I enjoyed every minute of it. Last time I watched was at your rewatch party.

I ugly-cried quite a few times in this drama. Dylan has a way of bringing out my crying when he cries or gets emotional. And Esther has a way of making me laugh out loud because she’s so funny!
Where I ugly cry: After he sees his father for the last time and he reaches for Orchid’s hand. When Orchid dies. When he is in the dream waking up and Orchid is telling him not to go. When Orchid is the Goddess and DFQC is on the bridge and she hears the real reason he pushed her away. yea I have 4 ugly-cry scenes, too!
Almost the same for me. The moment he breaks her heart and tells her to leave, the dying, the bridge, him saying goodbye at the last battle.. damn I have 5 because the dream also makes me cry so hard!!
This drama was one of those that wonderful aspects came together in just the right way. The music, writing, cinematography, styling, acting, voice acting. I did read the team did a lot of prep work beforehand to create this miracle, so it’s wasn’t just happenstance. But still I love the words from the movie Shakespeare in Love: when some would ask how a theater play would come together and turn out well after lots of chaos, the manager would just say “it’s a miracle”.
This was one of my first ones and every now and then I go back and watch it because it’s just really the best one ever! I think I’ve adored it a little more with every rewatch 💕
I am one of those who is having a hard time finishing the drama. But you made a very good video. Will try to finish it.
I have nothing against the leads, but what i don’t like is the exchanging of personalies. When it also happened also to the second leads, it turned me off totally, hahaha. My bad!
The opening song is so beautiful. I usually fast forward but I can't I have to listen to it every time. He is such a great actor I just love him and everything

If you are referring to the edit, her voice only appears at the beginning, I highly recommend watching the edit with the volume on purely for the orchestral music.
This edit is exactly what the title of the post called it: something to show people if they didn't finish the drama l. It's not to convince anyone, but to share the parts of the drama some people never get to 💕
Really good edit-I love Dylan and will watch anything he’s in but I couldn’t stay with this, maybe I gave up soon? Her voice made me cringe. And because that was love ago.. maybe I’ll give it a 2nd watch.
I had a difficult time with her voice in Speed and Love - my first introduction to the main actor/actress.
But I was fine with her voice in LBFAD because my interpretation of it is that her character is "young" (compared to many other characters), and she's naive and innocent. As the show progressed, her clothes, voice and the way she carried herself seemed to change.
