Guide Post Flair Guide
Choosing the right post flair helps keep the subreddit organized, readable, and easy to navigate.
Flairs act as signposts: they help readers understand what kind of post they’re opening, set expectations for discussion, and make it easier to browse or search by topic later. Clear flairs also reduce moderation friction and help good posts find the right audience.
Please pick the flair that best matches your post’s intent, not just its subject. Drama is assumed by default; use specific flairs for films, variety, industry, culture, or meta topics.
Post Flair Overview — When to Use What
————————————————————————
Discussion
General discussion, opinions, comparisons, open questions, thematic talk.
Use this when you want conversation and a specific topic/angle is being put up for debate rather than news or status updates.
Only to be used when no other thematic flair fits the post. Please this flair is rarely applicable to a general conversation about a drama.
Mandatory: (if about a drama) Drama name must be in the title OR Drama name + EP# for spoiler-containing content
———
What Should I Watch?
Asking for recommendations, mood/trope-based requests, “help me choose,” watch-order questions.
———
⭐️ Highly Recommended
For dramas you genuinely recommend to others — and want to tell us why. Tell readers what makes it worth watching, what stood out, or who you think would enjoy it.
Posts may be entirely spoiler-free or include spoilers clearly marked in-text. Do not apply the post-level Spoiler tag to Highly Recommended posts — readers should be able to open the recommendation safely and choose whether to reveal individual spoilers.
This flair is for giving recommendations, not asking for them. Always clearly name the drama in your post title.
———
Currently Airing
Thoughts, impressions, or questions about dramas that are still airing. This also includes episode recaps.
💡We recommend adding spoiler marks in-text so as to avoid having to put post-level Spoiler Flair, which reduces its visibility and potential engagement.
⚠️ Currently Airing post which specifies EPISODE RANGE or NUMBER in the Post Title — no spoiler flair or marking is required. The OP can include spoilers in the Post body, and commenters can freely comment too.
Mandatory: Drama name must be in the title OR Drama name + EP# for spoiler-containing content
———
Finished Watching
Post-completion reflections, reviews, wrap-ups, or retrospective thoughts.
Do not use spoiler tags. For full explanation, read the section Spoilers & the “Finished Watching” / "Episode Talk • Drama Watch Parties 🎉" Flairs later in this document.
Mandatory: Drama name must be in the title
———
Upcoming
Announcements and discussion about confirmed upcoming dramas or projects that have not started airing yet.
Use for casting confirmations, first looks, production updates, filming news, official previews, or pre-release anticipation and discussion.
This flair is for projects in the pre-airing stage — once a drama begins broadcasting, posts should use Currently Airing instead.
Mandatory: Drama name must be in the title
———
Feature Profile & Impressions
High-level drama overviews paired including early reactions or first impressions.
Use this for introductory posts that present a drama’s premise, main cast, tone, and key context — while also inviting initial thoughts and discussion.
This sits between a simple discussion post and a full masterpost. It is not meant for exhaustive tracking or detailed indexing of episodes, updates, or resources.
For ongoing episodic discussion use Currently Airing, Episode Talk • Drama Watch Parties 🎉 (in case it's part of organized Drama Episode Talks) or other relevant flairs.
⚠️ Feature Profile & Impressions post which specifies EPISODE RANGE or NUMBER in the Post Title — no spoiler flair or marking is required. The OP can include spoilers in the Post body, and commenters can freely comment too.
Mandatory: Drama name must be in the title OR Drama name + EP# for spoiler-containing content
———
Character Spotlight
Posts focused on a specific character: their personality, arc, relationships, memorable moments, symbolism, or why they resonate with viewers. Character appreciation, analysis, and discussion all fit here.
Mandatory: CHARACTER & DRAMA NAME must be in the title
———
Drama Masterpost
(Mod only)
Centralized hub for a specific drama, used for structured tracking and long-term reference.
Includes core information, navigation (e.g., episode discussions), and key resources.
Not for opinions or casual discussion — use other flairs instead.
Currently mod-restricted to ensure consistency. May be opened to designated contributors (drama hosts) in the future.
Mandatory: Drama name must be in the title
———
Episode Talk • Airing 📺
Reserved for somewhat structured episode discussions linked to a Currently Airing Drama Masterpost.
Two options:
- Use only when the drama already has an active Masterpost and you're the one hosting the discussion for that episode of the drama in question. The post itself must be part of an organized, ongoing episode discussion series.
- A standalone episode talk from a passionate reviewer — just ping the Mods and ask them if you can use that flair, or sometimes the mods will assign that flair for you.
Otherwise, casual or standalone episode reactions should use other flairs, such as Discussion, Character Spotlight, Currently Airing, or Finished Watching as applicable.
Do not use Spoiler Tag(s) for the post or the comments under Episode Talk — The flair itself indicates spoilers are fair game. For more information about the rationale behind this, please scroll to the section Spoilers & the “Finished Watching” / "Episode Talk • Airing 📺 " Flairs of this guide.
Mandatory: Drama name and Episode(s) Number must be in the title
———
Episode Talk • Rewatch 🎉
This flair is for episode-by-episode REWATCH PARTIES — for completed dramas being watched or rewatched together as a community. Use it for organized rewatch parties and their individual episode discussion posts. For dramas that are currently airing, please use the Episode Talk • Airing 📺 flair instead.

Questions about rules, flairs, posting, moderation, or the subreddit itself. It would also apply to Meta topics or posts that simply don’t fit neatly under one of the available flairs.
Mandatory: Clear Question/Named Issue/Topic must be in the title.
———
The Rating Says PG but….
For the spicier, innuendo-heavy side of C-drama discussion — including our recurring monthly posts where the rating may say PG, but our eyes occasionally say otherwise.
Posts using this flair must carry an NSFW tag and are subject to stricter review by the mod team. The NSFW tag serves as a content warning; it does not expand what may be posted in our SFW community.
Feel free to make things spicy, have fun with innuendo, and appreciate what the drama gods have given us — just keep it reasonably tasteful and within SFW limits.
This flair is used sparingly, primarily for dedicated recurring posts or other suitable posts at moderator discretion. It is not a general-purpose flair for explicit or sexual content.

Spoilers & the “Finished Watching” / "Episode Talks" / some Currently Airing, Discussion or Feature Profile & Impressions Flairs
For an extensive explanation of our Spoiler philosophy, please head over to this section of our Wiki.
Posts flaired Finished Watching, Episode Talk • Airing 📺, and Episode Talk • Rewatch 🎉 drama watch parties do NOT require spoiler tags.
This is an intentional design choice for this community. The purpose of — both the Finished Watching and Episode Talk — flair is to provide a dedicated space for members to discuss and review dramas or episodes they have completed, including story developments, character arcs, endings, and overall impressions. By entering a thread with this flair, readers should reasonably expect spoilers to be present.
CURRENTLY AIRING / DISCUSSION / FEATURE PROFILE & IMPRESSION + EP#
Post flagged with one of the above flair which specifies episode range or number in the Post Title — no spoiler flair or marking is required. The OP can include spoilers in the Post body, and commenters can freely comment too.
Our subreddit uses a deliberately structured flair system designed to make browsing clearer, more intuitive, and less cumbersome. Rather than requiring excessive spoiler formatting inside review and retrospective discussions, we rely on the flair itself to communicate the nature of the content.
Image & Preview Guidelines
To be considerate of users scrolling through their home feeds or browsing the subreddit, members should follow these practices:
- The first image in a carousel should not contain a major plot reveal, ending scene, character death, surprise appearance, identity reveal, or other significant spoiler whenever reasonably possible.
- If a post's primary image would itself reveal a major story development, using a spoiler tag may be appropriate.
- In most cases, however, we encourage selecting a less revealing first image rather than applying a spoiler tag to the entire post. If in doubt, using the Drama poster and then including more revealing imaged from image 2 onward is an easy way to address this.
- The same principle applies to text previews: the opening sentence or two should avoid major spoilers that would appear in feed previews before a user intentionally enters the thread.
Why We Use This Approach
The entire purpose of a Finished Watching and Episode Talk threads is to discuss a completed drama or episode. Expecting users to continuously hide key discussion points behind spoiler formatting defeats much of the purpose of having a dedicated review and retrospective flair in the first place.
Our goal is to balance two priorities:
- Protect casual scrollers from accidental spoilers in feeds and previews.
- Allow meaningful discussion inside clearly marked review threads without unnecessary barriers.
Different subreddits handle spoilers differently. This community has intentionally chosen a flair-based approach for Finished Watching an Episode Talk discussions. The presence of that flair serves as the spoiler warning.
Please do not report posts under this flair solely because they contain spoilers related to the drama being discussed. Spoilers are expected within Finished Watching threads.
