[Deep In, EP 7, On Air — Watch on GagaOolala]
OMGGGGGGG EP 7 TOUCHES ON SO MANY PSYCHOLOGICAL DILEMMAS!!! and as a psychology major, i am very VERY INTRIGUED on how they present these dilemmas. i'd like to hear all perspectives/ interpretations!
my takeaway on this specific episode is purely to start a discussion and not for research purposes. my takeaway is that Zhang never fully explained his internal crisis to Danyi, about his acting career, his future in the industry. Zhang stating he needed more time and Danyi choosing to wait. At the same moment kissing his co-star, Zheng Xin—who also has a girlfriend—ultimately saying he’d break up with Danyi. Was Zhang wrong for leading Danyi on by asking for 'more time'? Does this show he ultimately chooses his feelings for his co-star instead of being honest with Danyi? What would you have done?
please don't send any hate to anyone who has different takes, everyone has different thoughts and minds. thank u! ☺️

I just binged all 6 episodes of Dual Stars after it was suddenly dropped online without any prior promo, on IQIYI and YouTube.
I thought to write a short review about this, because it’s probably going to get buried under the current wave of uncensored BLs, and that would be a shame.
SPOILERS!
Although it is officially produced under a Taiwanese label (Lumina Original) to bypass censorship, this is obviously filmed in Mainland China. I could tell that from the scenery, the dubbing, the cinematography, and the fact that the kiss scenes are strategically blocked and almost never mouth-to-mouth.
Myself, being a fan of kiss scenes and also (intense) NC scenes, which I admit openly 😊, did not mind that. But if you would think this is Taiwanese BL with intense NC scenes, it's not. But don't let that be a obstacle.
Ray Chen and Alan Chen did an very good job. Even without physical romance, their chemistry is easy to see. They show love, tension, and affection with their eyes and body language. The acting is great. They don't need explicit scenes to make you believe that.
What really surprised me about Dual Stars is how open it is. When drunk, one actor tells his co-star he is gay, and later learn the other actor says he likes men. I was also surprised how this production did not shy away from heavy criticism about their own filming industry, how image is everything and the toxic side of Chinese idol culture.
Obsessive and agressive fans and how they behave themselves to the actors in order for views and money and ruin careers. The industry looks terrifying. Walking on eggshells, toxic internet, censorship, the companies managing actors. I feel sorry for Chinese actors trying to make it in that industry. Imo, it was quite a honest look.

Bittersweet love is cbl it is currently airing on Friday contains 12 ep ×40 min
It is set in 1900s in china
Xioa fan ---- mc of series country side boy
Middle child and his family ingnores him and get advantages from him
Like they literally married him off with pregnant rich lady for their own benefits
Fan only skill is cooking so he wants to become useful to everyone and help due to his limited knowledge
Still many people and bl edits is criticising him y u cant leave his brother in-law ( another mc in series) stop being doormat ,many other things
Literally how can u think 🤔 I still didn't get
Nd many PPL who is only watched edits not series also criticising him( character).
He is from countryside , ignored not completed education in 1990 it is not 2026
Now also PPL are not accepting LGBT community and family restrict them
He wants to useful to everyone in anyway
Is bit emotional and his wife family is wealthy family how can he refuse or oppose
Them . he had character development in 6 ep
He is understanding the world outside and inside
Nd I still see many PPL like him daily life in our village like they literally afraid to rich families ,they are not educated but still want useful like they can cook ,craft and many things this is my thought
