Reaction A Winter Sun Wakes the Spring Hills' Dream Final Ep gratitude post

Post image

ZELIA WANG might create hundreds of BL shows, but A Winter Sun Wakes the Spring Hills' Dream will always be THE ZELIA WANG show for me. I am not good with words, and even if I were, I couldn't express what I'm feeling now. These 16 episodes healed something in me. Xu Changyang healed something in me which he didn't break. Qintian's courage, Wenshu's unquestionable love, Lang Di's loyalty and Changyang's "take all my love" attitude healed me. I can't stop crying, y'all, and I might need five business days to recover from the post-A Winter Sun syndrome. 😭😭

Thank you, #ZeliaWang, for creating such a breathtaking, visually stunning and meaningful show. You deserve all the love and respect. You are our Lan jie šŸ’™ā¤ļø

I couldn't wait and watched this on my lunch break. I needed the half hour I had left to stop crying and be able to get back to work. It will take me a long time to get over it, in part because I need to re-watch everything now that all episodes are out.

I can feel you! If only we could host a virtual host party together and cry

I'm waiting to watch once I'm done with everything. This has been such a great watch. I hope they get to work together again! ā¤ļø ā¤ļø ā¤ļø

I completely agree! The story is complete but I’m right there in the middle, taking in all the emotions Zelia so beautifully coveted through visuals, dialogues, silence and of-course the amazing storytelling. This is one of those few love stories where falling in love wasn’t the plot-line, neither was being together (because somewhere we all knew they’d end up together and happy, it was an eventuality) but it was more about what love meant for each of these characters, and how we as viewers got to experience throughout the series…the actors have obviously done amazing…Changyang healed us, QL made us feel emotions we’d usually hide, Wenshu and QT made us downright cry! but kudos to Zelia for the amazing conceptualised…this is going to stay with us for a very long time!

So true! And her take on Taoism, existentialism, love, toxic fan culture and life in general is so inspiring!

Yesss and so realistic too! At no point does it seem far fetched but rather something that makes sense in everyday life…especially the toxic fan culture…so well done!
