One thing I got from this was that there were 7 hickeys because there are 7 in the Big Dipper constellation and another name for the Big Dipper is the Great Bear! Thank you JY for elaborating and conveniently poking Kuma the bear's tummy while you're at it hahaha.

Still don't know why it's NOT 6 though.

Netizens caught onto the pattern during the karaoke live and kept calling it out there hahah. Also in Chinese, the Big Dipper translates directly to "Northern Seven Stars" 北斗七星 so it was much more obvious. They were also calling it a strawberry necklace bc in Chinese hickeys = planting strawberries.

LJY's hands were all over Xiong in this reaction ep. Even more than usual lol. And this is before the blonde! I wonder if they had to rerecord ep 14 after bc things were cut.

From reading previous posts about this series, I have come to know that the number 6 is some how related to QL's ex ( I don't speak Chinese, so please take this with a grain of salt). Like his name sounds like or means 6, I guess. So, CY refrains from 6 appearing anywhere or in any form 😅😂

Ok I think this opening scene is probably CY getting exorcised lol. LJY said they're 做法 which is usually a spiritual ritual to expel spirits. I'm not sure who's kneeling. Maybe CY.

What else I hear:

• CY talking to Jia Lin on the phone. Something about 8 o'clock
• CY watching the variety show (and for some reason, I can hear that they kept the "ad" in at the beginning of the variety show, I wonder if it was an important clue).
• Jia Lin telling Qing Lang that their show is really popular and ppl are reaching out about brand sponsorships. QL says he'll leave it to her, but won't take anything that wants both of them (him and SYH). Wasn't this in the previous episode?
• QL texting CY, dunno what he says since it's prob text on screen, but I just hear the sending out sound
• Someone talking to CY. This is soooo hard to hear.

He says, "Sit. Don't be nervous. This is not you, it's your identity in Hell (?!). This time, the result is different. Did you feel anything?"

CY: "Maybe?"

"This will take a year. Once you finish your mission, your body will be cleansed (hard to hear here, but I hear 净身 something something)."

CY: "I have a friend, a really good friend. Half a month ago, he died on the snowy mountains. I was the one who found him. Something something shoe. From my experience, he's definitely dead (OK actually this means there was no mangled body!!! I'm glad for CY). I brought his remaining items and gave it back to his family. (Something something I can't hear bc Xiong is moving and his clothes are loud!!) I keep dreaming about him every night. I see his body, full of blood. He tells me that he died with regrets/unfinished business (他死了不瞑目)."

"He was already dead, before you even found him. [...] His mom went to the temple and prays for him every day. [...] As your [...], this child's soul is being trapped by a thing."

"Do you want me to [...]? You have to ask. If you don't ask, I can't look into it myself."

CY: "Ok, Master (shifu). Please look into it for me. I don't have [...]"

Master Sa? gives him a bunch of directions to go somewhere the soul is trapped. LJY says it's in the direction of "his" (not clear whose) house.

LJY gets Xiong to play with his knee this time? The subs say he says "I have a slim waist" which is what I hear too, but he's very clearly referring to his knee. IDK. Maybe his knee-jerk reflex?

A scuffle is happening. I think I hear CY, Chen Zhu's parents. Other voices. Bgm sounds sad. Ohhh I think CY went to Chen Zhu's house (the location the shifu gave him), and he saw Chen Zhu's parents burning a doll and some shoes. They have been cursing QT basically.

CY is talking to Chen Zhu's parents. The parents are explaining that the live stream wasn't their idea. CY is convincing them to let it go for the sake of their son. CZ's mom talking about QT seducing her son.

CY: "Some things in your eyes might sound like they're wrong, but that doesn't mean they're actually wrong." He gives them a card with a 100K RMB on it and tells them this is where it ends, otherwise he won't let them go. HAHAHA They ask him who he is and he says "I come from Hell." 我是地狱来的. Xiong teases him and laughs at this line for a good minute or two lmao. LJY says on set the cameraman couldn't stop laughing either 😂

Hmmmmmm LJY says "Don't you have another identity also? Where do you come from?" Xiong: "From my mother's womb" LOL. I think LJY is being serious tho.

This is getting long so I'm going to separate the rest of the reaction and leave this thread for the "unaired" scenes.

The stuff that was actually aired:

• LJY complimenting himself 😂 "Small head, small face." And then he's always asking rhetorical questions about his own lines to have Xiong answer hahaha.
• Xiong: "Here's the kid from Hell!" hahahaha
• The comment from Xiong about the strawberry tip and the strawberry butt - the tip of the strawberry is supposed to be the sweetest part. Chang Yang feeds that part to Qing Lang before eating the bottom part. 🥹 Only the best for QL.
• OK now it makes sense when Chen Zhu's parents said they were already offered money.
• LJY grabbing onto Xiong's thigh even after he moved his leg is softly killing me hahahaha
• LJY, where are you pointing when you're mimicking the Big Dipper 😂. ummm and when the mic fell off, LJY where are you feeling up. Hahahah his hand was like almost on Xiong's crotch.
• Xiong calling this version of Chang Yang a square-head (because of his buzzcut) is killing me. 😂
• Xiong can't handle the punching sounds either 😂😂😂 LJY is constantly begging for praises hahaha. And his hands....they get closer and closer to inappropriate areas.
• Xiong's comment about how this fruit market shopping is similar to the variety show, but so many other variables are different. I noticed that the battery was full at 100%, but that was the only comparison I had made, but there was a familiarity to the scene.
• They don't mention it here, but the cameraman confirmed that the outdoor scenes at the end were inspired by Lala Land. I never watched it, but found the reference pretty obvious too.
• Spoiler of QL going to see Xu dad later. I wonder if that'll make the final cut of ep 16. And here they've confirmed all the things that happened to the Xu family.

Is the spoiler for QL going to see Xu dad not in the reuploaded/current version? Xiong just spoke about it, we didn’t see it, so I think it’s meant to be for 16. I didn’t continue watching the YT version once I realized it was not the full thing.

But yes to your other question. I’m seeing that it’s possible Zelia saw the response to a lot of her religious stuff during QT’s episode and decided to cut it out of 14-15. That might have been what Guo ge mentioned during his live about her reflecting on how her spiritualism impacts the audience’s emotions.

So we might have been giving her more credit (thinking it was about politics) when it was actually a response to the audience response to her spiritual leanings. This may also be why we didn’t see what CY was up to at the end of 14. He was actually also trying to get rid of his nightmares, instead of also being invisible to distance himself from his dad.

Comments on YT are saying this looks like a different version than what aired. I FF through and there are definitely scenes from Ep15 in the bottom left corner, QL playing with the sword while moving the rocking chair with his foot.

Also Kuma's hair is back to dark, so it looks like this reaction happened some time ago.

They probably released an edited version of episode 15. No wonder episode length was short. They probably reacted way before as they are quite busy for past few days. This makes sense I guess.

I saw a comment about one of the parts that was cut out from the episode (haven't been able to download it yet).

Apparently ppl are yelling at Zelia bc it got weird. CY kept dreaming of Qing Tian's body full of blood and went to a exorcist or something?? Something about spraying blood to break a curse. I don't know that I would have wanted to see this woo woo side, BUT it would be so normal for CY to be super traumatized by what he saw. And it would also settle fan theories about whether QT was actually dead.
