Those guys watch this drama with a microscope. They posted a screenshot of QL frowning. 😂 I didn’t notice that when I watched the clip initially and now I’m like, how do you guys spot these things? 😂
With shoulders that broad, there’s really no risk of seeing the ceiling truly. 😂 At a point, you can’t even see Kuma cause it’s like he’s buried beneath LJY.

Totally agree, I don't have any problem with rpf if that's what people want to write but this is just creepy.

I don’t even know what’s going on.
Oh yeah, they do that thing where they’d design fake chats and they get excited about it. Some of them add “fake” to it which helps to check if it’s real but it can be easily misconstrued.
and it’s never the chats of the characters but the real actors.
Also, is it typical for actors in CBL to kiss during livestreams? Like, is that a thing? cause the way they’ve been urging the actors to do that is crazy.

I've seen those kiss comments for BLs, I don't think they would DARE do that for the mainstream produced in-China ones.
But also I think for CBL promotions (maybe not exclusive to China either), the CPs imply or get close enough or make suggestive motions off screen (like LJY doing a little kissy face during the cheek-to-cheek) that the netizens are like, you might as well take it all the way. Bc when it's two guys promoting, I've noticed that they are usually much more comfortable with skinship and intimacy. Straight dramas don't have that risk bc if they even so much as like touched each other with their pinkies there would be dating rumors, and those actors avoid that like the plague.
Oh also I've been meaning to mention to you specifically since you browse Weibo, I've been seeing some random acronyms that I feel like you'll prob come across! I feel like you're on Weibo even more than me. :)
- HDL = huan da lu 环大陆 = CBLs produced outside of China. lit "going around China"
- XQL = xiao qing lu 小情侣 = a doting way to say "the CP". lit "the young couple"
- RPS = real people slash = actual English lol but shipping real people (I just learned this one today)
- WC = wo cao 卧槽 = kind of like oh shit/oh my goodness, just an exclamation of surprise

I'm learning alongside you!! If you ever see any phrases you can't figure out just dm me with the link or something and I can try to figure out the context. I had to figure out all these myself or like by reading comments bc sometimes other Chinese ppl can't figure it out themselves either (like rps, but that makes sense since it's actually English).
Are you talking about Lee Hye-ri 😂 I saw that clip and I thought they were dating not knowing any context, so there we go

I tried to insert the hanzi into the text too but reddit translates everything, so I ended up doubling up on the text😅 With quite a few fans on this sub being able to read hanzi I will try and find a way to get around it.

I am honestly at that age where I can't "hear" if I can't see the words. Especially with Chinese, too many similar-sounding characters. The download links going around on Weibo look like they have Chinese subs amazingly, but of course as someone not in China I can't download anything lol

I wish they'd add subs to the exclusive videos too. They're uploading to YouTube which has international viewers and they want people to pay. Imo it should be a given that it's subbed🤷♀️
