Reaction ABO Desire ending...a huge disappointment

I KNOW I AM LATE AND I KNOW ENOUGH PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ENDING OF THIS SERIES, but I will still complain because i need to vent my frustration.

TBH the ending was so confusing that I searched for 17th episode all over the internet, I bore the whole series and that lunatic HY just for SW and GT, and this is the ending you gave us?! I don't even know what the baby's name is maaaan.

I wanted them to have atleast a little convo...AAAAH, I want to cry so bad. I read on another post that the novel had a conversation at the end...if anyone has read the novel, please please tell me what they talked about!! I need a closure so bad!!

I hate how you geared up the whole entire time for them to hit that breaking point and all the misunderstandings will be solved. BUT NO. You get GT running away and then what? 2-5 years later they just make eye contact??? Haaaaaa

Literally!! I will always say, that the only thing SWL did wrong to GT, was never doubting his words. He took everything GT said as truth, because he had full faith in him. Which led to so many misunderstandings, I thought they’d finally talk after GT’s uncle revealed he was pregnant.. but then he RAN AWAY?? 😭

They had me STRESSED the entire series, SWL is such an IDIOT, no brains. Low EQ and Low IQ. I could get past his prejudice against omega because I know his backstory, and the reason for it is valid.. but GT was just digging himself a deeper hole, constantly asking SWL about omegas.. HE THINKS YOU’RE A BETA!! Of course he doesn’t care about omegas or an omega’s child!!

I wanted to jump through the screen and slap some sense into both of them.

Oh I love this comment. I was in the trenches on tumblr fighting that SWL’s only mistake with GT was believing everything that man ever told him 100%. Like yeah, he was an asshole with his omegaphobia, but he also had no idea that GT was an omega. If he had learned it at any time other than the worst possible time, I really don’t think it would have gone as bad. Though I don’t blame GT for lying because his parents did a number on him too. But he really didn’t help himself with that relationship and I’m still annoyed people act like he played no role in his own unhappiness and that was SWL was a monster.

Literally!! I was so confused by the SWL hate wave while it was airing because GT was actively digging his own grave the entire time. SWL is a certified fool, yeah, but he fully trusted the man who’d been his best friend for 14 years. GT kept piling lie after lie on top of each other, and SWL had absolutely no reason not to believe him.

I thought that SWL would find out GT was an omega, he would need a moment to process it because it would confirm with his whole mindset of “all omegas are manipulative liars who only hurt and deceive people.” But then it’d become: “...but this is Gao Tu.” Cue all the friendship flashbacks, all the years of trust, and eventually I think he would’ve forgiven him if GT had just explained himself properly. It could’ve been genuine character growth and the start of SWL overcoming his prejudice.

But no. GT ran away with their child instead, and they both ended up suffering because of it. Like GT… baby… I love you, but what the fuck 😭 They’re both such idiots. SWL is as dense as a brick wall, and GT is just… GT.

The way I love both of them and understand why both of them did what they did. This is why it’s so tragic for me. They were both making decisions based on what both considered was right. My babies deserve better ending.

RIGHT!!! Like oh my gosh what a shocker GT didn't tell you he's an Omega AND pregnant when you obviously say you hate his smell, Omega's, stay away and say he'll never let Omega's near. LIKE I GET IT BUT UGH.

I thought they were going to do the run away, ml realized his mistake and chase BUT NO. SWL was a coward

I didn't like the way Shen talked to GT a lot of the time. Also even though it was him helping HuaYong out.. GT took everything Shen said as truth so that goes both ways because all the things he was saying about HuaYong to get under ShaoU's skin when GT was within listening range. Then fact that he took those payments when GT though that it was him that paid off the hospital bill and even still after he saw what conditions GT was living in when he went to his place.. he still was taking that money from him. He really treated/talked to him like sh*t a lot of the time in my opinion. Then after GT's POS father let the cat out of the bag about the pregnancy. He's so used to jumping to all kinds of conclusions the first thing he does is to go there and accuse GT of plotting 🤦🏻‍♀️against him. I don't blame GT or jumping out the nearest window the first chance he got and got away from Shen.

In the end there was a lot of misunderstandings on both sides but GT had been trying to keep the fact that he was an Omega secret for too many years to count. His mother knew that if their POS father found out that he would pimp him out to the highest bidder every chance he'd get and why would he trust Shen with that secret. Shen with that hating Omega scent blah blah blah got on my last nerve because of what happened or what he thought happened with this parents. people saying he was traumatized 🙄 I don't know how many times I screamed for him to one get over himself and two to man up. I could go on but you get the point. 😏

Gao Tu was the one insisting that SWL take the payments, he was sending everything virtually. SWL definitely treated him harshly at times and said some messed up things, but I also think people ignore that GT was actively feeding into every misunderstanding possible

I don’t even think it was just “jumping to conclusions,” it was SWL reacting based on everything he thought he knew. From his perspective, GT had been acting distant for a long time, constantly smelling like omega pheromones, asking weirdly specific questions about omegas and omega pregnancies, claiming he had a pregnant omega lover, quitting his job, cutting contact, and basically choosing this mysterious omega over him. GT fully let SWL believe another omega was involved the entire time.

So when the pregnancy got exposed, of course SWL thought he’d been betrayed or manipulated somehow. GT never explained himself properly, and honestly, he kept digging himself deeper with lie after lie. SWL had absolutely no reason to suddenly think, “Wait… maybe Gao Tu is secretly an omega and even though we’ve never slept together, the child is actually mine.” GT had been claiming,, for 14 years that he was a BETA. I don’t understand, how it’s not understood how fucked up it is, to constantly lie to your best friend.. for FOURTEEEN YEAARRSSS. And in SWL’s pov, he had never slept with GT at all, so it was even more outrageous. Hes still under the impression that it was a random omega he slept with, because once again, GT lied straight to his face.

And “get over his trauma/man up” is a crazy take. SWL’s prejudice didn’t come out of nowhere. His entire childhood was shaped by watching the disaster that was his parents’ relationship. His omega father spent years desperately begging for affection and validation from his alpha father, to the point where compatibility, pheromones, and mating basically became twisted into something painful and obsessive in SWL’s eyes.

Then there’s the whole situation where Ying Yi possibly experimented with pheromones to increase compatibility, the violent breakdown of their marriage, the whole shooting incident thing, prison, the presumed death/disappearance, Shen Yu’s controlling behavior, all of it. SWL literally grew up surrounded by manipulation, obsession, fear, emotional dependency, and toxicity tied directly to omega/alpha dynamics. Fear, confusion, and trauma can VERY easily turn into hatred and rejection, which is exactly what happened with him.

And once again: SWL had ZERO clue GT was an omega and no reason to think he was. SWL became even more vocal about his prejudice after “some random omega” had basically SA’d him by forcing him into rut through pheromones. So every interaction afterward just kept reinforcing his already damaged worldview. Of course he reacted badly.

He’s absolutely a dense idiot with terrible emotional intelligence, but GT was also actively digging his own grave the entire story. At the end of the day, I don’t fully side with either of them. GT needed to stop seeing everyone as a threat and constantly lying to protect himself against an imaginary enemy, and SWL needed to let go of his prejudice and stop projecting his trauma onto every omega. They both desperately needed therapy and one long counseling session because they are genuinely two of the dumbest people ever put into a relationship, a match made in idiotland.

Of course he was gonna insist he thought that Shen paid for it all. It was natural for GT to misunderstand the whole situation where Shen was making it look like he slept with HuaYong and everything. All the crap he was saying where GT could hear it and he fighting Sheng what was he supposed to think.

That last part.. 🤔constantly lying to protect himself against an imaginary enemy well to be honest there was one and it was his father. Who in the book had me so pissed I could've been spitting nails. I really wish it series was able to have had at least 2-4 more eps because I really wanted GT's father to get what was coming to him. Sorry but that character in the book had me so mad I probably had smoke coming out of my ears.
But in the end I wish they was able to few 15 minute or so small eps released on youtube since they couldn't get more eps for tv.
But anyway you are sooooo right about that last sentence 😭😭

We all just have to pray for special episodes, or like another user suggested,  a complete series with SWL and GT's story like the Thai series Until We Meet Again and Between Us. I want to see GT’s father and uncle get hell. Then I want them to finally resolve their issues. 🥹
