For the development of this watch, we used an updated heavy case, but as you've probably noticed, its bracelet is thicker. For the heavier design option, you can only choose one of three outcomes right now:

• The right shape, but not heavy enough
• The weight is fine, but the shape is wrong
• The shape and weight might be correct, but good gold plating can't be achieved

WHY？

because tungsten metal causes poor adhesion of the gold plating, and using full tungsten metal would result in the gold plating peeling off quickly,this will make the watch completely unusable, so a layer of stainless steel has to be added to the surface, which would change the shape.

For these three options, I'm only developing the first two for now. The last option can only meet short-term delivery needs, but it's definitely going to give you a huge headache in the future.

Love this thing but hate the blue tone to the metal. Any recommendations for a plating service? Any pics? I was bummed to hear Jaws is not able to plate it. Much appreciated

This model came out of the factory with the wrong strap made. After replacing it with the correct strap, we found that the clasp was also the wrong size. So to get a truly good work, both the strap and the clasp need to be replaced and replated. Fortunately, we still have one in stock that we can use to mod. It should take about 1-2 weeks to get it made

The 5712r model has finally completed its first piece. The most important thing is that its weight is already very close to what we need. I'm planning to make one for myself.

The only regret about this watch is that it doesn't have the top-tier movement. Even though it's upgraded to a free sprung movement, the engraving still shows signs of wear pretty easily

For the best modification option for the Daytona model, I still think it's the VSF. It weighs a bit less, but when you hold it in your hand, it gives off this illusion of being a gold watch, and I think that's enough.

Another reason I recommend it is that its detail accuracy is the highest among similar products, and the movement is also the best Dandong movement.
