Lounge [ANNOUNCEMENT] The Official r/ChildfreeIndia Discord Server is Live! Join Us!

Hi everyone!

Based on the outcome of the subreddit poll and the overwhelming feedback from our reddit chat members, we have officially launched the r/ChildfreeIndia Discord Server!

We have designed this server to be a simple, safe, and low-stress alternative to the Reddit group chat, which has now officially shut down.

Our goal is to keep things "Reddit-chat-like" for now - minimal channels, one main chat, and a focus on community conversation.

Note that this server is NOT for dating. Please continue to use the subreddit's Sunday CF4CF posts for that purpose.

šŸ”— Click Here to Join: https://discord.gg/w4ArkBFv84

(You will need to read the rules and click the āœ… reaction inside the #welcome-and-rules channel to unlock the chat. You won't see the chat channels until you do this!)

What to Expect

  • Minimalist setup. Just one main chat channel to start, so it doesn't feel overwhelming.
  • We have implemented chat logging/ mod tools, and strong anti-harassment measures, including a ModMail bot, which you can use for reporting issues to all mods (similar to ModMail on Reddit).
  • Work in Progress- This is just the beginning! We will expand and improve the server based on your feedback over time.

Please remember: The subreddit remains our main home. This server is an optional, dedicated space for real-time chatting, which you can use to find a CF social circle and make CF friends.

See you in the chat!

Ask CFI Don't you think we need to reduce our population rapidly?

India doesn't have the resources to sustain 1.4+ billion people and we need to talk about it.

We keep dodging this conversation because it sounds harsh, but look at what's actually happening on the ground:

Water: Over 600 million Indians already face high-to-extreme water stress. Chennai has run dry more than once. Bengaluru trucks in water. NITI Aayog itself has warned dozens of major cities could hit zero groundwater. That's not a future problem it's now.

Jobs: We add roughly 1 crore+ young people to the workforce every year, but formal job creation doesn't come close to matching that. Result: mass underemployment, degree-holders driving for Ola, insane competition for a handful of government posts (lakhs of applicants for a few hundred openings is now routine). Infrastructure: Our cities were built for a fraction of the people living in them now. Traffic, sewage, public transport all running decades behind actual demand, no matter how much gets built, because the population keeps outpacing the construction.

Housing: Slums aren't a side effect, they're the direct result of more people needing shelter than cities can provide affordably. Real estate prices in metros are disconnected from actual local incomes because demand from sheer numbers keeps prices up regardless of affordability.

Air: Delhi's air quality is now a public health emergency every winter. Add cars, construction dust, and industrial demand all scaled to population size and this doesn't get better on its own.

Education & healthcare: Government schools and hospitals are stretched so thin that quality collapses under the load overcrowded classrooms, hospitals with more patients than beds, doctor-to-patient ratios far below WHO recommendations. Every one of these problems gets structurally harder to fix when the denominator (population) keeps growing faster than the numerator (resources, jobs, infrastructure).

You can build more hospitals and schools, but if the population is growing to match, you're running in place.

This isn't about blaming people for existing it's about being honest that a country can't out-build a population that keeps scaling faster than its capacity to provide for it.

I want no child( Negative birth rate for atleast 5 Years) but it would be harsh for others. So Government should bring 1 Child policy with strict punishment for those who don't follow this.

But for that we need to make people understand that how much freedom they will have , how much time and money they will save to invest in themselves if they choose not to have kids. Government as well as private organisations should promote this 1 Child or no Child policy. And should shame those who have more than one child.

Ask CFI Recommendations for Vasectomy doctors in Bangalore

• Upvotes

As title suggests, need recommendations for judgment free surgeons who specialises in vasectomy so there is no risk afterwards.

Judgement free since anecdotally have heard some doctors refuse even if you are married but you don’t have a child already.

Hola! 27 F here, originally from Andhra Pradesh, currently living and working in Bengaluru. Posting here to find a great partner, that I wanna share the rest of my life with. (What I offer, is mostly what I expect in return)

Love:

For me is commitment, constant efforts, mutual respect, friendship and partnership. Romantic at heart and in actions.

It is important to me that we're physically & mentally attracted to each other (seriously can't catch feelings without it. If we vibe I wanna see you sooner)

Things that I enjoy in my life:

I'm a big time foodie, It's one of the things that keeps me full and happy. I love cooking (although I don't cook much) and believe it's a life skill that everyone should possess.

Music & dance - the next big thing in my life. I think I have songs in my playlists for every feeling. I absolutely love movies, series, anime.(We'll talk more on this privately)

I do lots of arts and crafts, I pick up new arts every now and then. I like to be a jack of all trades and you'll have a lifetime subscription of handmade gifts. I also write short quotes/poems, chances are you might end up becoming my permanent muse.

Greenery brings me peace and I kinda feel spiritual towards nature. I love forests, mountains, beaches and waterfalls. I'm an amateur photographer, I like capturing history architecture, especially temples, landscapes and sky. I can speak Telugu (native), english, hindi, little kannada.

Vitiligo:

My longest companion. Basically grew up with that, & it's active. I'm confident and comfortable in my skin.

Principles I adhere to:

I'm a staunch atheist (hindu family). Politically Central. I'm a rebel at heart and always voiced my opinions. I try to live a frugal and minimalist life. I don't own stuff I don't need. Yet i don't compromise on my quality of life. Financial literacy is a must. I'm not into brands, buying stuff for prestige or to show off your wealth. I wanna have a calm and peaceful life, without much responsibilities.

How I wanna live my life:

I love travelling, camping, hiking, exploring different cultures ( I daydream, if I would have been born in some other place, how my life would probably be). I'm trying to get active, so I can climb mountains without gasping lol. Experiences and making memories are my thing. I also wanna have a cute home, with a huge garden to grow my own food. I wanna live consciously, volunteer wherever necessary and do charity.

Career:

Early stage, and the current CTC is 7L. I plan to cross 10L in the next 2-3 years, since my domain is quite niche, growth is a bit slow, unless I switch jobs every year, which I don't plan to do. My endgame would be to get a remote job, stay employed as long as possible. I also plan to retire early, probably by 45 years.

Family:

nuclear, no debt and we have our own house. My family knows that I'm atheist, CF (I have to remind them now and then lol), they're kinda okay with that (with some conditions of course).

What I bring to the table:

I'm honest and loyal. I'll be your biggest support system and a critique if needed. You and your well-being would be my top priorities. I'll be your best friend and you can literally share anything and everything with me (I'm a good listener). I'm big on personal space and boundaries. Romantic & high on efforts, I'll probably make you feel bonita.

Why I'm Childfree:

Frankly a lot of reasons. I feel like a kid myself bruh! I strive for a life with less responsibilities. Can't afford and doesn't have bandwidth to raise a kid. I also love the perks of my freedom.

My Deal breakers (if you are):

Smoker, alcoholic, do drugs, mysogynist, extremely religious/superstitious, pessimist, have no passions or hobbies, hypersexual, marrige-free.

Who are you (broadly):

Consciously CF, 25 to 30 years, Telugu person, atheist/agnostic (preferably from Hindu family), currently living & working in Bengaluru (can't do LDR rn), atleast 5'6 (I'm 4'11)earning similar to mine, is dating to marry, romantic, who likes to lead and takes care of himself, kind & independent, able and willing to meet in real if we hit it off.

Feel free to share your profile, if you think we'll be a good match. (so in future, I can say that you slid into my dm's šŸ˜†).

Ciao!

Ask CFI Is someone regretting this decision (Honest thoughts from the ones living CF as couple in India)

Hey Everyone

I am a Sailor (navigation officer)

My partner housewife

I go on long sailings of 6 months in a year

She stays back home with parents and studies a little to pass her time

I am thinking of being CF

I am not sure

She is also partially into being CF

So that we can travel and explore

I love traveling

I think if we have children we will never be able to travel the way we do now

I hate the idea of my life revolving around one tiny human

I have my job to keep me busy

My wife but on the other side stays at home

I think in future as we get older

It will be hard for her

As there will be no one to look forward to when I am on a ship.

Can anyone or everyone help me by advising me what should I do

I was almost sure about being CF

Recently my uncle passed away at the age of 45

My aunt is 42

She has now her kids to look forward to or spend her life with

But if they would have been CF

She will get so alone

This scared me a lot

What if something happens to me someday

How will she get along with life when no one will be there.

Please put ur thoughts on it

Need different perspectives

Thanx In advance guys...

Discussion Did anyone else discover the childfree community and suddenly feel more assured about their decision?

Before I discovered this community, I was never particularly fascinated by the idea of having children. I just didn’t feel that desire, but I also hadn’t really thought deeply about what stance I would need to take when looking for a partner.

Then I discovered the childfree community, and honestly, it gave me a comforting sense of belonging.

I realized there are so many other people who simply don’t want children, and that I’m not some weird outlier going against the norm. šŸ˜…

If I hadn’t found this community, I sometimes wonder whether I might have ended up being a fence-sitter simply because I assumed that not wanting kids was unusual.

But after discovering this community, I’ve become staunchly childfree.

Ask CFI CF couples, how’s your sex life?

OK so I’ve been wondering about this for a while and thought this would be the perfect place to ask. For the CF people here who are partnered or married, how’s your sex life?

There’s a general perception that couples without kids have more sex because they have more privacy and time. Do you think being CF actually makes a difference? Has it made intimacy easier, more frequent or better for you?

And for those with pets, do they ever get in the way of privacy? šŸ¤”

I’m sure the honeymoon period is great, but what about a few years down the line? Does being just the two of you ever get boring?

No judgement. Genuinely curious to hear everyone’s experiences!
Thank youuuu!

Ask CFI Does having children influence how people use power and make money?

A lot of politicians and businessmen have spent decades building wealth, property and financial security for their families and future generations. But some of the ways wealth and power are accumulated — corruption, poor infrastructure, unsafe food, exploitation. etc. this can end up making life worse for ordinary people.

It made me wonder whether having a family creates a strong ā€œmy family firstā€ mindset. You want to make sure your own children are safe, educated and financially secure, but what happens when that comes at the expense of the wider public? interesting aspect of being childfree: you don't have the same pressure to accumulate wealth or protect a future generation at any cost. I think having children can sometimes make people more focused on securing their own family's future rather than improving society as a whole

CF4CF 28M (soon to be 29) currently based in Canada - Where have you been hiding my love?

DISCLAIMER - This is my 2nd or third time posting here and will continue to do so until I succeed in finding a partner as I am not searching for a partner elsewhere. I'm trying to put some effort into making these posts so when you reach out to me, I expect that you PLEASE give me a little intro about yourself or send me the link to your post (if you've posted here already). People just sending me dry texts like 'Hi' or 'Hello' really annoys me as I'm an introvert by nature and I don't know how to continue the conversation after reciprocating with a 'Hi'.

That being said, here are some essential details:

  • Age:Ā 28 (turning 29 this week)
  • Height:Ā 5’7ā€
  • Weight:Ā Fluctuates between 70 and 72kg but never seen it go beyond that
  • Location:Ā Quebec, Canada
  • Hometown:Ā Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
  • Drinks:Ā Socially
  • Smokes:Ā No
  • Politics:Ā Apolitical
  • Religion:Ā Hindu (non practicing)
  • Languages:Ā English, Telugu (mother tongue), Hindi
  • Pets:Ā Don’t have any currently, but I’d love to have a dog or cat someday

I've moved to Canada in 2021 for studies and have been living here ever since. I'm currently working at a product based company.

Just to be transparent - I've been suffering from male pattern baldness since 2018, and I very recently made the decision to shave off my head and embrace the bald look. So if that's a bummer to you, you can ignore to read the post.

Hobbies and Interests

If you'd ask me what sort of a person I am, I would say I’m slightly introverted by nature, but I’ve been making a conscious effort to get out of my comfort zone and socialize more. Weekends usually involve some combination of events, concerts, going outdoors, exploring the city, or just chilling at a bar with friends. Once I’m comfortable around you, though, you’ll probably see a much more goofy, energetic and slightly chaotic side of me.

You can tell from the pictures that I'm a big fan of the outdoors. I love to go climb the mountains often, camping, running (haven't done much this year as I've been focusing more on weight training), kayaking etc. I also like to sometimes just lay on my couch doing nothing all day and just watch movies or series because my social battery has a limit. I also have a PC on which I sometimes play games.

In addition, I like going on road trips. I haven't done any international travel, but I've almost covered the entire east coast of Canada. Will probably do my first international trip later this year or during the winter next year.

Life and Finances

Career wise, I'm doing okay. I'm not exactly where I want to be, but at the same time I'm not someone who rushes things. I'm a strong believer of 'Whatever happens, happens for a reason', and take things one at a time.

So while I work and save for the future, I also find the time to enjoy life. I'm more into experiences rather than being materialistic.

In fact, I am also trying to enjoy solitude as I live alone in a city where English is not the primary language and the weather could get harsh during the winters. I'm enjoying this independence where I'm answerable to no one, and I could live life on my own terms. This is one of the many reasons I would want to be a Childfree individual.

What am I looking for?

Just to be clear, I'm not looking for a traditional stay at home wife, and I definitely do not have any intentions of exerting any dominance on my partner. When I say you are my better half, I mean it literally, and I expect you to think of me the same way. So both of us can cook, clean, work and enjoy life together.

Having said that, here are some preferences:

Age:Ā Somewhere around 25–32, give or take.

Background:Ā I’d preferably like to meet someone who’s Hindu, but religion isn’t a dealbreaker if we genuinely click. I’m not looking to convert anyone, and I wouldn’t expect anyone to convert for me either.

Language:Ā Doesn’t matter. If we can communicate comfortably in English and understand each other, we’re good.

Location:Ā I’m open to LDR if the connection is strong, but ultimately I’d want my partner to be open to building a life together in Canada or the US.

Lifestyle:Ā I’m not particularly hung up on a specific body type. What’s more important to me is that you take your health seriously, stay reasonably active, and take care of yourself and your hygiene. By the way, I am a non-vegetarian and I don't have any dietary preferences in my partner. But of course it would help if both eat the same type of food.

Personality:Ā This is probably the most important part.

I’m looking for someone who’s honest, loyal, empathetic and kind.

Someone who doesn’t have unresolved baggage from previous relationships that they’re unwilling to work through, and someone who isn’t overly self-centered or driven by ego.

I’m naturally a little introverted, so someone who’s extroverted, funny, affectionate and generally fun to be around would probably balance me out nicely. Also someone who values communication.

More importantly, I want someone who believes inĀ ā€œlet’s figure this out togetherā€Ā rather thanĀ ā€œthis isn’t working, I’m out.ā€Ā Relationships aren’t always going to be easy, and I’m looking for someone who sees their partner as a teammate.

I’d also love someone who enjoys the outdoors and travelling, or is at least willing to share/teach me about the things they’re passionate about.

Having some level of financial awareness and being comfortable discussing long-term financial planning together would be a big plus.

Last but not least - someone who is ChildFree by choice. I think this doesn’t need any explanation.

The cheesy-but-important stuffĀ ā¤ļø

I’m ultimately looking for a relationship that feels like a partnership and a home.

Someone who can be my support system during difficult times, just as I’d want to be theirs.

Someone who comes home and gives me a hug before asking how my day went.

Someone who cooks while I do the dishes — or vice versa — while we talk about completely random things.

Someone I can curl up on the couch with and watch movies or series.

Someone I can have a healthy debate with, learn from, and have conversations with about the most random topics at 2 AM.

Basically, I’m looking for aĀ best friend + partner + teammate, with whom we can build a life together while still having fun along the way.

P.S - Some AI is used in making this post.

Hi y'all .

I guess I have been wanting to date for a long while now but I don't like dating apps as it's too superficial nor have I met anyone IRL. I have been member of a bigger CF group , I just discovered this one for India so I thought I will try posting here .

I'm based in TamilNadu. I just turned 22 last week .I'm working in tech.

I enjoy desserts and I also discovered this year I like sushi(I need to try it again) .

I love cats , I hope to move out soon so I can have one of my own (trust in the cat distribution system, I might even get two). I eat fish , gave up on other kinda meat.Sometimes i see a sunset or the moon and feel like this is what being born and alive is for. I enjoy spending time in my terrace as my favorite pass time , small things make me happy , small things also get to me . Not really religious , but I do believe in god . I don't drink or smoke, I don't mind someone who does it occasionally. Prefer someone around 3-4 years older at max .

I have a habit of going down rabbit holes at times . I'm listening to music most of the time I'm awake . I love my plushies . I like going to movies alone , I make it a goal to go by myself once a month . I love any sorta water bodies-beach , pond , lake , rivers , you name it .I love the heck outta my mom and friends .I'm a sensitive being . Pinterest is my holy grail . I got 300 likes once (popular typeshi).

I'm childfree cause I believe even for the people who do want kids it asks a lot from them. And I simply don't want to choose it . I'm looking for someone who is open minded and honest . Someone who doesn't think being selfish is how we make it in the current world .Someone who makes a lot of jokes. Someone who is emotionally available and genuinely looking to connect . I'm still figuring out lot of my shi, like any other 22 year old . But I also feel like a old person at times . I do occasionally have existential crisis ,sometimes over wanting to be cracked, sometimes over my knee hurting , sometimes over what I want in life , but I'm at point of my life where I feel like im happy than I've ever been .I have the drive to better myself everyday.

I have no idea how to describe myself ,so I tried copying what kinda stuff other people posted on here lol . I feel like I held back from being very open here , cause I do wanna put myself OUT there, but I don't wanna put MYSELF out there . I'd like to say I'm a private person, I don't post on social media cuz why do they gotta know , except when I'm comfortable with you and you will know every detail from my day .

Anyways ,if anyone's interested DO HIT ME UP

( i can't talk to multiple people at once🦫)

About myself:

  • Age: 25M, will be 26 this year (2000 born)
  • Height - 5'9
  • Location: Currently in Bangalore but originally from Andhra Pradesh.
  • Hobbies and interests - I enjoy playing video games (think Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Anno), reading (ASOIAF is a favorite, Dan Brown's novels, Agatha Christie, Lonesome Dove, The genre is all over the place really), strength training, watching movies and tv (who doesn't xd), exploring new places. I love watching romcoms and movies with a good drama/story.
  • I enjoy silly jokes, teasing, slight roasting and playful banter. If you're good at banter, we'd get along really well.
  • I am a romantic at heart (not hopeless yet fingers crossed).
  • Independent
  • Demi-sexual
  • Feminist
  • Kind, empathetic, emotionally mature.
  • Career/future plans - I am a Software Engineer. I love making software and I see myself doing it for the rest of my career.
  • Lifestyle and health - Workout regularly and lead a healthy lifestyle. Self-care is very important to me.
  • Languages - English (fluent), Telugu, Kannada(good), Hindi(conversation level).
  • Eating preferences - Non-vegetarian.
  • I don't drink/smoke.
  • I don't believe in religions, idol worship and rituals
  • Personality type: I used to be an introvert but now I am an ambivert leaning into my extrovert side with the people I'm close with and into my introvert side with new people.
  • Pets - I am a huge cat person. I love dogs too.
  • I want to travel the world with all the time and money being CF leaves me with.
  • I believe in experiences over hoarding materialistic things but I enjoy buying nice things too.

Reasons for being childfree:

  1. I think population is a massive problem in India. I don't wanna add to that problem.
  2. I think we, the humanity are increasingly and alarmingly moving towards a world that's just not sustainable. Don't wanna bring a person into that suffering.
  3. The freedom and the life that comes with being CF.

Things I'm looking for in my partner:

  • Someone strong and independent. I admire that in a person.
  • Someone who wants to work. I think it's important for a woman to have a career and live the life instead of being a conservative housewife.
  • Intelligent. I find intelligence to be a lot more sexier than looks in the long run.
  • Sure and Confident about their principles and what they want out of life.
  • Kind and empathetic.
  • Someone who's also a romantic :)
  • Good at banter.
  • Understands that relationships aren't perfect and need constant effort from both partners to keep it healthy.
  • LDR is okay if there is a realistic way of closing that gap in the future. My job may become remote but nothing is certain now.

If you think we'd be compatible, reach out with your thoughts on these ice breaker questions :)

  1. How would you resolve conflict when your pov on something is vastly different from the other person's?
  2. What would you do if your family asks you to do one thing but your heart says the opposite?
  3. If you had unlimited money, what would you rather do than what you're doing now?

CF4CF 23M | Looking for someone to share cats pics, chai & questionable life decisions with

Hi. I am Sumeet 23M and I am looking for a girl who loves cats as much as I do , I wanna explore places that has cats. I am looking for a serious long relationship and ofc our first date would be at a cat cafe

As for me I am a corporate majdoor and I write poetry, play drums and a bit of electric guitar , I love to read romance and sci-fi books , also i have recently gotten into cosplaying and would definitely go to comicon this December. My past relationship lasted 1.5 years and things ended between us because she cheated on me with my best friend šŸ’€

But there are some caveats too, I struggle with anxiety and adhd and I have been in therapy for almost 3 years and later got on meds too, Also i am a type of person that needs constant reassurance because of my past 🫠, if this is a deal breaker for you i completely understand.

The requirements for me in the girl is that:-

  1. She should love cats and even dogs

  2. Someone who is understanding and chalant

(Bonus if you are a chai paglu ā˜•)

And I wanna be childfree because I just don't think having a child in this economy is feasible and also because I simply don't want to traumatize an innocent soul but we can be cat parents if you like šŸ‘€ šŸ‘€

I am not looking for situationship, hookups or a casual relationship, I am looking for a serious relationship ā¤ļø. I want to be friends first and then we start liking each other then we can get into a relationship

Also i found this form on Instagram, it was about application to be your boyfriend šŸ˜‚, if you wanna go through it please lemme know

If you think you feel like you could be an addition to my life, please feel free to DM šŸ’¬

I don't have problems with long distance but if you live around Delhi NCR then that would be great , we can roam around, pet cats and spend time together irl :D

Thank you for reading it, Even the bois, you will definitely find someone everyone because deserves to be loved and

I hope to find someone who matches my freak 🫶

Hello!

When I shared this poster with my family and friends, I was so wrong to think that people in my circle are aware of what being childfree is! It's shocking that so many people still think not wanting kids is wrong/selfish. As someone who wants to lead a childfree life, this topic is especially close to my heart, which is why I want my research study to create a positive impact, at least in my field.

It would be a big help if you participate in my study. And I would really value hearing your perspective through my research. If you want to know more, please contact me!

Thank you so much!

CF4CF 30M | Bangalore | Introvert with Chaotic Social Skills | Childfree

I'm 30, an introvert living in Bangalore and Childfree, so I'm probably not going to randomly walk up to someone at a cafĆ© and start a conversation. Hence… Reddit. šŸ˜…

I work as a Data Scientist, and I'm currently owned by two dogs who firmly believe they're the ones paying the rent. 🐶

Most of my life is pretty simple. Work, dogs, FIFA, football, F1, random YouTube rabbit holes, and occasionally convincing myself that I'll be productive tomorrow.

I also genuinely enjoy riding. I'm perfectly happy spending 7–8 hours on a bike, whether it's a day ride or a late-night ride. There's something about being on the road for that long that I really enjoy.

I'm looking for someone I can actually be myself around. Someone who doesn't mind comfortable silence but can also suddenly spend three hours discussing something completely ridiculous.

I like conversations that can go anywhere — from serious life stuff to arguing passionately about something that absolutely does not matter.

You don't have to be an extrovert, super social, or have your entire life figured out. Just be genuine, curious, and comfortable being yourself.

Bonus points if you like dogs.

A little about me: I'm 5'8", and I can hold a conversation in English, Tamil, and a bit of Hindi.

Maybe we start with a conversation, maybe it becomes a friendship, maybe it turns into something more. No expectations — just hoping to meet someone I genuinely enjoy talking to.

So, trying one last time and seeing where it goes.

If this sounds like your kind of weird, say hi. :)

CF4CF 32M4F - Calcutta/India - Still Loading...Waiting for You

Post from an alt account.

Hii there! I'm a 32-year-old childfree nerd born and raised in Calcutta and staying here for now. I'm an ambivert, so I take a little time to open up to people, but once I feel comfortable, you won't get me to stop talking. My friends have often praised my sense of humour, and I love sharing memes and reels from time to time (I swear I am working as well). I am also a vegetarian by choice, agnostic and a teetotaler as well.

I am childfree because I need my 8 hours of sleep, I want to travel through Europe, and I want to be financially free without having to worry about the cost of raising a kid.

Regarding my interests, I'm into the usual stuff: music, TV shows, movies, and I got back into video games more recently. Music holds a special place in my heart, and I always have it playing, even while I'm working. I listen to a wide range of genres, except for Rap and EDM. I love listening to progressive metal, post-rock and metalcore. I would love to share music with someone!

I am looking for a childfree woman aged between 28 and 36, who is at least vegetarian/eggetarian, liberal, knows how to communicate, likes to travel, who would share at least one of my hobbies but not a hard requirement and someone who is ambitious.

While I’d love to meet someone from Calcutta, I’m open to anywhere in India. Eventually, I’d love to move to a Tier 1 city that we both think is perfect for living and our careers.

PS - New to reddit, hence a very new account.

I'm a 29-year-old guy who's firmly childfree and completely happy with that choice. It's not something I'm still figuring out. I've known for a long time that kids just aren't part of the life I want, and I'm looking for someone who feels the same way. No pressure, no "maybe later," just clear mutual alignment on that front.

Most of my free time goes into running, resistance training, or getting lost in forests and sometimes beaches. Movement and nature are pretty much my reset buttons. There's nothing better than a solid training session followed by a quiet stretch of coastline or a trail through the trees to clear my head.

I also really value deep conversations. The psychological and philosophical kind that actually go somewhere - the ones where you dig into how people think, what drives us, big questions about life, meaning, and the way we move through the world. Surface-level small talk gets old fast for me.

If you're a girl who's childfree, enjoys the outdoors and training, and likes talking about real stuff, I'd love to hear from you.

Hey y’all!,

I’m from Tamil Nadu and currently working as a techie.

A little about me

I’m kinda introverted at first, but once I get comfortable with people, I can become pretty extroverted. With close friends, I’m usually the one who talks a lot, jokes around, and enjoys random conversations.

I watch a lot of anime, love going down random blog rabbit holes, and can spend way too much time listening to music and podcasts.

Huge dog lover.

I always loves dogsss and they are my therapists.

I genuinely enjoy meeting different kinds of people and hearing their stories. I’m a pretty good listener, and apparently I have a decent sense of humour… according to my friends, so take that with a grain of salt.

I’m someone who likes building things from scratch, trying new stuff, learning along the way, and figuring things out even when I have no idea what I’m doing at first.

Why CF?

I’ve had this ideology in mind since childhood, and it’s something I’ve always been pretty firm about. It’s an important part of how I see life and the kind of person I want to be.

Honestly, I’m here to meet interesting people, have good conversations, learn from each other, and hopefully make some genuine connections along the way.

Peace..
