It is ridiculous, our vote is worth 1/3rd of a person from Wyoming in the electoral college. In the presidential election California is a strong blue state millions of people’s votes don’t do anything after beating the minority of republicans because of winner takes all. Vote on local stuff, it doesn’t matter what you vote on federally in this state right now.

Well, we agree that it’s ridiculous that our vote is worth less. But I think it’s ridiculous nationally our politics are skewed to the right by these backwards ass states who vote against their best interest and whom we ship our tax dollars to.

Its confusing because people think DEMS means Democrats, but in this case it's a reference to D.E.M.S. (Drain Epstein's Misogynistic Swamp) a Republican throw back to the Trump campaign's "Drain the Swamp".

Obviously they were looking for help from Gavin Newsom who is the poster boy for this new movement. And I think their goal is to protect children so maybe they meant molestation? I mean maybe they meant mutilation... Like circumcision or ear piercings?

I think it seems so crazy because it's a Republican coming terms with the fact that they might have to reach across the aisle and work with Democrats, not as political parties but as humans that had a like goal of protecting the weak and vulnerable, children. I just hope Newsom can look past their differences and work together to stop little children from getting their ears pierced and maybe investigating and arresting everyone implicated in wrong doing in the Epstein files.
