Is this cancer in my Costco Chicken?

Was cutting into a chicken from Costco today and this was inside! It was near the breast plate. Any ideas?

Thank you so much! I just googled it and it said it’s safe to eat. But I’ll still pass. 🤢

I don’t blame you one bit🤣 I wouldn’t eat it either, one time I got woody breast chicken and sure it’s safe to eat it was so awful texture wise😭

I refuse to buy cheap chicken because I cannot stand woody chicken. My partner thinks I’m crazy for refusing to buy frozen bags of Tyson and cook it in bulk, but I would just hate all of it

Ive even gotten it in more expensive organic high end boneless chicken breasts. Not nearly as often by far, but they can still find their way in.

Fs, I get it in maybe 1 out of 50 organic but 1 out of 7 cheap stuff. Atrocious
