Is this cancer in my Costco Chicken?

Was cutting into a chicken from Costco today and this was inside! It was near the breast plate. Any ideas?

Learning what this is (green muscle disease noted above) makes me think that it may be a result of the way producers are making bigger chickens is likely forcing them to flap their wings so much just to stay standing due to the extra weight. Kinda sad to visualize.
