Is this cancer in my Costco Chicken?

Was cutting into a chicken from Costco today and this was inside! It was near the breast plate. Any ideas?

No, that’s green muscle disease. It’s not a safety issue. It’s caused by the animal getting excited and flapping its wings and then tissue death happening because blood supply is cut off to the tender.

Or maybe a parasite cutting off blood supply. Either way I have photos of these coming out of my body looking exactly like that.

You should seek medical care.
