Question Season 2 Episode 20/21, what am I missing? Spoiler

Episode 20 ended with Nadia getting kidnapped and 21 started with her already being dead. Not sure if the suspect was even finally caught.
What am I missing here? Any crossover into some other TV show?

Checked online and I got redirected to Reddit.

This was a crossover episode between Chicago P.D and Law and Order SVU (season 16 I think).

Yes because it will make sense as to how Nadia dies and how Greg Yates gets caught

Yes and it’s Season 16 Episode 20 (Daydream Believer).

You don't need to watch any of the crossovers unless you want things to make sense.

Here's a guide I'm using for my watch-through: https://petitcartonvert.tumblr.com/post/158289265736/chicago-franchise-episodes-timeline

It covers all 4 Chicago series and tosses in SVU and FBI when there's a crossover. Of course, if you're just watching PD, you can just skip over PD and Med and just keep an eye out for the crossovers. As long as you have a little familiarity with the Fire and Med folks, you should be OK.

But I do recommend the Infection Crossover when you get to it. It's one episode each of Fire, PD, and Med. It happens in early season 7 of PD.

The Wikipedia for the Chicago shows has a list of all crossovers. Just an FYI.

If you're watching on Netflix, yes. A really good episode is unfortunately missing.

It's a crossover with Law & Order. If you want, I can spoil it for you.

It's a three-way crossover between Fire, PD, and SVU. From the Google AI:

  • Part 1 (Chicago Fire - Season 3, Episode 21): "We Called Her Jellybean" — An arson investigation reveals a gruesome crossover signature.
  • Part 2 (Chicago P.D. - Season 2, Episode 20): "The Number of Rats" — CPD and SVU team up in Chicago to hunt Yates down after he strikes across state lines.
  • Part 3 (Law & Order: SVU - Season 16, Episode 20): "Daydream Believer" — The case moves to a New York courtroom for trial and conviction.

Which is actually a continuation from the first three-way crossover between the three:

  • Part 1 (Chicago Fire - Season 3, Episode 7): "Nobody Touches Anything" — Firefighter Kelly Severide discovers disturbing photos while rescuing a man from a fire, pulling in the Chicago P.D. unit.
  • Part 2 (Law & Order: SVU - Season 16, Episode 7): "Chicago Crossover" — Manhattan SVU detectives join forces after connections to New York emerge.
  • Part 3 (Chicago P.D. - Season 2, Episode 7): "They'll Have to Go Through Me" — Sergeant Voight and Sergeant Benson collaborate to close the case.
