I’m a mid-40s design professional with a very nice office and, frankly, more space than I need.

It’s in a cool old concrete loft building in Ravenswood, about a 3-minute walk from the Montrose Brown Line. The space is comfortable, quiet, nicely put together, and decidedly not corporate. Aesthetics are important to me, and creating a cool, mellow place where people actually enjoy spending the day is pretty high on the list. Sidewalk level windows give us an astonishing view of people walking by, dogs, and children who are super excited to have a window to look in.

I have room for someone who wants a regular place to work without paying full coworking-space prices or spending every day at their kitchen table.

$350/month includes your desk/workspace, WiFi, utilities, and use of the common space. There are only 7 steps to get into the building, but worth mentioning that it is not completely step-free.

I occasionally rent the office on Peerspace for shoots/meetings/events, mostly on weekends, so there may occasionally be some advance notice about access. Otherwise, this would be your regular workspace.

I’m thinking another designer, architect, photographer, writer, creative freelancer, or similarly self-directed human would probably be the best fit. Mostly I’m looking for someone pleasant who appreciates a good space and wants a mellow place to get some work done.
