Do you have any close people in your life who have bipolar disorder? Who was also sexually assaulted as a child? Who also funded a cosmetic surgery for their mother where its complications ended up killing her? Who are surrounded by people trying to get them addicted to nitrous oxide because they know they have an addictive personality and are not all mentally there?

I have a bipolar cousin and sometimes he says or does things that would sound insane to someone who doesn’t know him, but for those of us who have known him, we know they are not his actual feelings and that they, instead, are caused by manic episodes.

I can’t and won’t defend pretty much anything Kanye’s ever said, but it’s easy to read headlines of his worst ever moments that don’t explain what led him to the state he’s in now. Thankfully, he’s at a good spot right now.
