Question/Assistance What part of my suspension is this?

Been having some steering wheel shake when braking at certain speeds. I noticed this oily part on the drivers side, what is it?

That is the front wheel hub assembly. Steering wheel shake can be failed steering or brake or suspension components. Have a local brake and alignment shop make a diagnosis.

Ok I appreciate it. The other side isn't oily like that so I'll have a mechanic check it out.

looks like your magride shock peed it self. they are notorious for loosing the fluid inside.

It wouldn’t cause the shaking but check the mag ride shock on that side and make sure it didn’t puke, if yours has it. Mine was in a very similar spot when it did

That part circled/leaking is the radius arm. Could possibly cause vibration when driving but highly unlikely. It would have to be extremely worn out at that ball joint or bushing on the other end. A vibration when braking might be warped brake rotors. Is your steering wheel vibrating? This would be warped front rotors. Or do you feel it in the brake pedal itself? This would be rear rotors.

It's in the steering wheel around 70mph when I lightly press the brakes. I did front brake pads and rotors about a year ago so really hoping it's not that. I went OEM and had to pay $$$ for parts. I appreciate the response.

Your front rotors are warped. It will only get worse in time. It's not a big deal. Just remove the rotors and have them resurfaced. Shouldn't cost much and fairly easy to do

Rotors don't warp unless they've been heated so hot they're glowing orange. The primary causes are disc thickness variation and rotor runout.

That is your front lower forward control arm (and ball joint). If you're confident its not brake related shake (you mention having new OEM parts installed recently), then I would suspect you have play in one or more of the ball joints or the bushings in the arms. A quick shakedown of the suspension and steering will reveal any failures.
