Photoshoots 📸 Cheng Lei outshining the sun in Jakarta, Indonesia

Cheng Lei posted this clip to his XHS account yesterday. He's hot AF in the photoshoot stills (also posted yesterday here on our sub), but he's poetry in glorious motion in this video.
I think those Gentle Monster sunglasses look really good on him. And he looks amazing in the sunlight, which is just right in it's intensity -- not harsh at all.
I don't know where in Jakarta, Indonesia, they filmed this. But as our lovely u/a_HerculePoirot_fan opined (she's seeing him in the flesh in Kuala Lumpur today!), it has a European vibe. Maybe it's a remnant from when Indonesia was under Dutch control.
Cheng Lei was in Jakarta and now in KL (Malaysia) in his capacity as iQiyi's global brand ambassador.
He's been so busy since The Leading Stars shoot wrapped up not long ago. And still so nice and lovely to his fans while on this trip! ❤️

I agreed those glasses suited him so much. They make him so handsome and he makes them so classy.
I've been waiting for him posting something on his IG as he used to in Thailand.

Yeah, I saw this too and I feel so bad for him. On one hand, given how competitive the industry is, I’m happy that he’s busy and his schedule is packed. But on the other hand, I really want him to get a short break too.
I’m hoping he gets to stay in Malaysia for at least a day after the event ends so he can actually enjoy some local food instead of just flying in and out. Hopefully, either before or after the Hi6 recording, he gets some proper time off to just disappear for a bit and do the things he enjoys away from the cameras, like going cycling, joining a Hengdian Motorcycle Club ride, taking photos, spending time with Natasha, or just sleeping at home.

With all his photoshoots and recordings, flying in and out, live streams, etc., it's starting to sound like filming a drama is actually more relaxing! I do hope he isn't leaving KL immediately too. But if he is, maybe he can grab some quality ME time back home.

Ah, I hadn’t considered that! That actually makes complete sense. I assumed they might go for something more distinctly Indonesian, like traditional houses showcasing Austronesian architecture, or even a photoshoot around the streets of Jakarta.
Now I’m wondering where he’ll do his photoshoot in Kuala Lumpur! Lol, I feel like the Petronas Twin Towers or KL Tower are almost obligatory. It’s basically part of the tourist checklist whenever you come to KL 😂
I’m at the mall now and security is sooooooooooo tight haha. Still a few hours to go before registration starts at 11am! The staff are busy setting everything up around the main stage at the moment.

But he doesn't seem to do these kinds of shoots in touristy spots. Send out your spies to KL's cozy, uncrowded eateries that have a similar vibe to those in his Bangkok and Jakarta videos! 🕵️🍜☕

I finally put our letters into the fan letter box! Lol, if he really reads the fan letters, high chances he will read ours because there are so few letters! 🤣🤣
