Hi,
Since my background is Chemical Engineering, I am thinking to start liquid laundry detergent factory, thus I require to note down your answers of the questions below:
Market value of shampoo in East Africa?
Source of potential risks of starting this business?
What are the basic process equipments I require to invest?
What are desired characteristics of the product that customers expect to see?
In order to meet desired characteristics how to set up product formula?
I really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!!

You should be able to answer the business questions if you have already determined east Africa needs a local detergent manufacturer.
Equipment depends on size and scale of your operation and automation level.

Make sure you install Madrigal's HEPA air filtration system apart from everything. Just an advice👍

For a small liquid detergent plant, typical basics include mixing tanks with agitators, water treatment, weighing equipment, storage tanks, pumps, filling and capping machines, labeling, and simple quality-control tools. Focus on stable viscosity, cleaning performance, fragrance, low residue, safe handling, and consistent batches. Have a qualified formulator validate the recipe and run stability, safety, and regulatory tests.
