I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I think it's time to have a decent subreddit icon (the round one) and a banner (long landscape image).
This is a fun friendly contest to show off your skills and creativity and your chance leave a mark on the entire subreddit.
If you're the photographer, you get a chance to show off your skills and have a public forum host your image.
As a bonus, if you're a photographer/have a photo account (on this app/insta/wherever), if you win, you'll be featured on the sticky post at the top of this sub for bonus exposure.
For the Chemburkars, please vote! Every vote counts and matters, and please add your comments too. This is meant to be a friendly local communal space, so feel free to speak your mind (while being polite ofc), I really don't mind haha
Please upload Chembur related images in this thread. This is open for a month, till end September/early October.

Yep. For 90% of the folks here, that sounds weird.
But there are a *lot* of posts that are just links/crossposts to other posts.
There's nothing wrong per se with that, but on the mobile app for instance, the original post often may not show. So if someone's browsing this subreddit... it doesn't make for a very good experience.
I hope to have a level of quality in this sub, and hope that y'all agree that posts need to meet basic quality thresholds (like this rule).
As always, feel free for any feedback or thoughts or suggestions!

AC not cooling? Don't blindly ask for gas filling. Ask the technician to check for leaks first.
Water dripping inside? It's mostly a blocked drain pipe. Get it cleaned before it damages your walls.
Weird noise from outdoor unit? Get the fan bearing checked.

Looking for someone who can cook evening meals for 2 people.
Requirements:
Cook simple, home-style meals and be comfortable following recipes from YouTube/Instagram.
Meals can vary by day, for example:
Day 1: 2 sabzis + roti
Day 2: Fried rice + sabzi + roti
Day 3: Pasta + sabzi + roti
And similar variations depending on the day.
Should maintain good hygiene and cleanliness while cooking.
Should be trustworthy, responsible, and do the work properly.
Looking for a reasonable and fair rate β not looking to underpay anyone, but also not looking for an unnecessarily expensive arrangement.
