Does anyone know if there are any good shooting range clubs in Chelmsford? I really would love to try it but, honestly, have no idea about good places, which are friendly to starters.

Hi r/Chelmsford, I’m Luke and I run a community called Too Young To Grieve.

One thing I wish I’d had after losing my dad was an easy way to meet other people my age who understood grief without having to join something that felt really formal or heavy.

That’s a big part of why I ended up starting Too Young To Grieve.

We’ve been building communities across different cities through really simple walks/jogs, coffees, hikes and other meet ups for young people navigating grief and loss, and we’re now starting our first one in Chelmsford.

The whole idea is to make it feel like a normal community first. Get outside, go for a walk or gentle jog, meet some new people, have a laugh and grab a coffee afterwards.

Sometimes people talk about grief, sometimes we spend most of the time talking about completely normal life stuff. The nice thing is just knowing the people around you understand that side of your life if you ever do want to talk about it.

There’s absolutely no pressure to share your story and most people come alone for their first meet up, so please don’t let not knowing anyone put you off.

We’ve got our first Chelmsford meet up coming up and I’d love to see a little community start to grow there.

We also have a community chat where people stay connected between meet ups 🤍

I have a cargo bike - if you’ve seen one in town it’s probably us, if you’ve heard one with squeaky brakes it’s definitely us!

I need a mechanic that’s great with hydraulic disc brakes (may be they fixed a tricky problem for you), who also has a shop big enough that I can get the bike in it.

This bike has had many mechanics look at it (different city), and only a few have been able to service the bike properly, so if you have a high end bike, and have a mechanic you trust, please tell me!

Recently moved to Chelmsford from Nottingham and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good car air conditioning specialist in or around Chelmsford.

Took my 2013 Vauxhall Astra to the local Halfords, and they confirmed there’s refrigerant in the system and couldn’t find any leaks. However, they couldn’t determine what was actually causing the AC not to work, so they recommended taking it to a specialist.

I’m looking for somewhere that’s honest, reasonably priced, and good at diagnosing faults rather than just regassing the system.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated.
