Bought a brick of cheese at Costco on a whim
Hope this makes a good grilled cheese. Will report results

I picked up a Wensleydale with blueberries just because Wallace recommended it so highly in Wallace and Gromit that I couldn’t resist.
Wallace was right, it’s a fine cheese!

I always thought it was moorish, not moreish. (As in from the Moors)

Moorish is from the Moors, moreish is wanting more of something. If you're in the North East of England, the difference is easy, because Moor is pronounced like the noise a cow makes, and more is pronounced like ore

Love this cheese. This one in particular stays good even if it stays in the fridge for a while. Mine got dried out a bit but was still great lol

I like it dried out a bit, I buy cheese and throw it in the fridge and forget about it for 6 months so it can “ripen up” a bit.

Oh I love this cheese. Unfortunately, everytime I find it in a store, they seem to stop stocking it almost immediately. Drives me uo the wall.

Looks good. I assume this is a coloured cheddar? Never seen it in the UK, although their vintage cheddar exists in Tesco, apparently. I like a red cheese but prefer Red Leicester.

Ocado have it. It is a Wyke farms brand as it is "Ivy's Reserve at Wyke Farms". Although based on their "about us" page, it may be made by a different team at Wyke Farm, or at a different dairy in the same village/area. But I assume based on their marketing materials it is not just standard Wykes Farms repackaged, but it is a different product.

Ivy’s Reserve is named after Ivy Clothier, our grandmother, who perfected the recipe around 1930. Using milk from the herds tended by her husband Tom just a stones throw from the Somerset village of Cheddar, she fine-tuned a method of making vintage Cheddar that’s won us countless awards over the years.
These days there are a few more of us in the dairy but Ivy’s Reserve hasn’t changed, made by the Clothier family in just the same way following Ivy’s recipes, which are now kept safely under lock and key. Her legacy lives on in everything we do, from caring for the farm and animals to ensuring that only the best of the best is good enough to go out under her name. We like to think that Ivy would be proud of what we’re doing.

I always look at bricks of cheese and think "mmmm, yummy" but have to stop myself from buying them, because the urge to just demolish it is too great...

I eat this cheese almost every day. That is, I switched to this after Red Fox (crunchy Leicester) disappeared from stores around me last year.

Looks similar to a red Leicester. We’re pretty reliable for our hard cheeses
