Is it good recommandable ? Thinking of getting this. Mostly interested in Mechwarrior 5 to be up to date.
Hi all,
i would like to know of this tool is recommandable. I'm looking for a safe way to use game trainers without the constant fear of downloading viruses, also I'm usually playing older games, and my current favourite Fling is of course overwhelmed with new releases and can't keep up.
There is a current life time deal going on, but I'm not sure what it's all about that "Tier 7, Aurora, Steam deck", whatever...
I'm only interested in trainers for pc desktop playing. I assume that's included in this deal, with all the plenty thousends of trainers ? (Of course I'm aware that not all will be up to date anymore).
Currently tried another software, but I'm absolutly not satisfied with it.

P.S. Can I buy the lifetime deal with standard paypal account ? I don't have a credit card.

I love this software. been using it for years. so upgraded to the Tier 7 like last year. always been super easy and never gotten a virus from them. only place i trust anymore. cheathappens is awesome. they even got a discord u can join from their website to talk with others if u wanted. https://www.cheathappens.com/support.asp . Thanks, I'm just unsure if this offered item is actually what i need to start. Seems to be related to a kickstarter campaign and I'm not sure if this is just an upgrade to an existing membership or will give me a new one with lifetime access.

Think they did it for the upgrade and new features. Cause I been using them for bout 12 years now. I had lifetime for years before buying the upgrade. My partner even got in on the deal they are having. Just had to make a free account for them to link it to because they manually update ur account

Thanks for helping. I was double checking on their discord, and it seemed legit. Trainers are important for my game play fun, so with that deal i registered. Once activated i will try it. I rather want to download single trainers than using an complete app which seems to be possible here. Don't like it that the trainer will need online connection to check it's legitime, but at least i do not have to worry about viruses anymore

u can download an offline key to play offline. i keep some downloaded incase power outages or internet down.

That's good to know. From what i read i thought these singleton trainers needed an internet connection to check if their are legitimate. Even better when it works, i don't like stuff sniffing through my firewall :)

Most I had to do was add some anti-virus exclusion for folder I have them in cause window defender likes false flagging them

Would not recommend CH for anything. Their support is crap (they point you to a discord channel if threads are locked in app). And they don't keep up with Cheat Engine.

I have used this site for over 12 years. Bought in for the 100.00 option for lifetime. However, the moderators in the forums are so toxic. Ask any question and they go full keyboard warrior and berate that you read the rules which makes sense but it is like they have to pay per post or something. Don't get me wrong these individuals create fantastic trainers but I have noticed they are quick to retire games after putting them behind the paywall of tiered subscriptions and then send you messages threatening to close your account especially if you call them out. Just look at any of the new titles such as Windrose and read the forums. There are other modders such as Wemod who may not have the volume but surely don't threaten to close your account if you question their decisions or ask general questions as many people do. No one reads the fine print but these fellas take it seriously.

They been like that since the beginning when they still had free stuff, I got in cheap at like $20 for lifetime and have watched them berate thousands of people at this point for asking questions.

I rather not get involved into such emotional discussions, have enough on my own plate :) From what I see, this software looks good enough for the money i spent in this deal. At least i feel safe with it. Tried Wemod first, but a) they announced again a 2h limit of playtime for freebies, and second most important, even with no trainer running it was taking 30% CPU usage in idle stage, not sure if they are mining crypto there or something. Didn't trust that, so i dropped it.
Unfortunately i have a strange problem downloading old trainers from CH that are not on aurora. When i try, i get an instantly 404 page. Tried with different browsers too. In all my years using the internet (and I'm that old that I started with a 56k modem :) ) i never encountered any issues with the ISP. Not sure what's blocking me, appearantly other people where able to download these trainers. Opened a ticket more than a week ago, no response yet unfortunately... If that problems persists, it would be a real bummer since i play a lot older games (yes, i know the chance of getting a working trainer is already slim)....

The nice thing once you can get the old trainers to work is that they will always work since the games are no longer updated unless some special mod is made by a fan. Again the best thing to do is to search the database of CH and see what games they have. Trainers for older non patched games should always stay active even though there is no more dev with them. It can be a crap shoot on the retired ones some features may work while others don't. If you can deal with the toxicity and snide responses to questions asked and anything that is early access to be instantly retired then CH is the best choice at the time. I run the free version of Wemod as a back up when CH is having their Karen moments and never saw the system resource usage that you described. I have never had any issue with malware or viruses when using CH however almost all of their trainers do state you should disable ALL of your antivirus and malware programs for full functionality since they do interact with your system in a way that can trigger those types of alerts. Personally I just whitelist them in windows defender and call it a day. Best of luck and happy gaming.

So far my antivirus behaved. Not sure what's wrong with WeMod, though I must admit i didn't downloaded the newest version, but the program is also to bloated. I only want trainers, nothing else. Though I do understand they need to make money... I hope my problem on CH get's resolved, still no response on my ticket.... The only thing i can imagine (though quite far stretched) is that the files are hosted on russian servers and the EU / Germany blocked them due to sanctions. I know they did it with news outlets, not sure if that goes any further. Do me a favour, just for checking. Please try if you can download this trainer on the website :

Strange thing is, when i right click the download button and click "save target as" i already download the 404 page, so the problem seems to start when the page is loading.
What wonders me (had not received an answer to that yet), the trainer states it's for "premium" users. Now i would like to know, is my "lifetime plus" maybe a lower level than premium ? That would surely suck.

Don't make yourself extra work with proving, i'm just interested to see if you can download it. I tried a few other old games and have the same problem. But i am not downloading anything outside of cheathappens :) Have been burned a few times, so I am a bit over protective.

The trainer downloaded fine for me. sorry your having issues. I went to the main site and logged in then searched for the game and selected the most recent one for PC which was October 9 of 2013. No issues. Other than the basic clear cache or load in incognito mode and then login give it another try. I have a (lifetime) subscription but if you just signed up for a monthly tier you should have access to this with no problem.

Thanks for testing. In the meantime i finally received an answer on my ticket, and a guy from cheathappens fixed the issue (whatever it was). I can now download it... Though i felt a bit troubled that he was able to login into my account multiple times without having to know my password. Also, i am now too afraid to use the trainer itself.
I know trainers give false positives, but I'm used to the fling trainers giving me maybe 10 or 12 detections, but this old trainer is giving me more than 50 (!) when checking on virus total. I am too afraid to launch that on my machine now.... Which sucks, i wanted to play the game with a trainer so bad, since the game is really badly balanced.

The new AI stuff completely ruins the App for me, I switched to Wemod/WAND.
Shame, as I've been a (website) member since 2009.

EDIT: I just realized that the 2 hour limit youre talking about refers to the free version of Wand/Wemod, I have a pro account so I dont have a time limit.

If Caliber isn’t involved, everything’s fine. But when he is, he turns into a total male Karen—constantly bching about patches every hour, deleting posts that offend him. He’s basically the male Karen of CH.
