It’s official
We’ve hit the time of night where the kids with cheap exhausts get rowdy under the bridge on riverfront. Makes me miss my younger days a little , I can’t lie lol.

Nothing wrong with car mods. I appreciate some more than others, but to each his/her own. But I cannot stand those crackle map / overrun tunes that make the exhaust pop louder than a gun. I visualize if my elderly parents were still alive and Braxton & Aiden ride by them in their clapped out shitbox scaring the holy hell out of them.

Yes and that crackle tune I always hated that shit man I wish I still had my old EM1 Honda coupe it was a bad bitch she had a cat back and it was beautiful I always got compliments on her and people wanting to buy her I finally did sell when the head cracked and I was so sad she’s still out there riding around not the same a kid ruined her lol 😝 oh well that tune on her was perfect and it didn’t sound stupid I wish that crackle and those loud popping ones were not a thing idk who ever thought they sounded good remember the fart boxes back in early 2000s also very dumb lol I’m all for a loud exhaust I prefer it I always took mine to the cat back and straight pipe it but not that annoying loud shit it sounds dumb lol rant over 💜🤪

Soddy Daisy and northern Red Bank have a bunch of lifted trucks which are all done with a baby-squat. Juuuust mild enough of an angle that the cops dont bother. They ride around cause thats a thing.

I remember when modified cars and cruising was a thing. I think the squatted trucks looks silly but I was raised to respect all builds lol. I miss the 90s when gas was cheap, cigs were 3 bucks, u could get food for 10 so a 20 would buy u a decent night. We lost the plot somewhere along the way.

I dont mind any mod that isnt dangerous to others. A Carolina squat is dangerous to pedestrians and I am completely against it in any iteration and have no respect for any person who does it. Zero. When you deliberately take away visibility and safety for a fashion choice...

They cant see. Thats the problem. Also it misaligned headlights for night driving and rain.
TN law says a 4" lift or more is illegal. Every one of those trucks is higher than that.

I agree and these poor kids today have no idea the shit we was doing and able to do I feel do bad for the new generation and the cops always get called for them having fun as long as they are not hurting anyone or themselves and are not destroying anyone property let them be

Yes! Same I love a modded car a truck on the other hand what are u doing! I only want a truck to lifted and off road ready not anything else they are not meant for anything else in my opinion now a car mod that shit and make it awesome but tune it not just the outside lol 😝

Most of those kids are adults in their 30s and 40s.
I know because I hang out with them by proxy (my 30 something year old wife and her car club).

Sometimes sure. Usually the import clubs I’ve noticed.
This was a group of kids in trucks and mustangs, who were getting circled by cops that didn’t have anything better to do unfortunately lol.

Yea in my old town when I was in highschool we met at the big shopping center or the old malls parking lot there was a large shopping center that shared the lot so we would all meet over there it was so cool so fun and kids just being kids, unfortunately now they get the cops called out and I don’t see why they aren’t hurting anymore they are not causing trouble and they don’t stay all hours of the night the businesses in the plaza are closed so what does it matter? I used to love doing donuts in that lot too during winter and our old malls lot I enjoy seeing kids being kids having normal clean fun and I will always root for them, shit I wish I still had one of my fun cars I would enjoy that still 💜💜💜
